Dear Kulbir bhai,

" haathi ke sir aur lambi soond wale rahu ka mukabila karna hi darvesh ka kaam hai" [ 1942 urdu ed; page 233, lines 4-5 ]

It is the ketu who can face a belligerent rahu.

Therefore you are right when you say that ketu "reacts with equal/matching intensity towards action of rahu". I believe it should be true for all eventualities.

have a nice day,

Varun Trivedi

Varun ji; so long it never occured to me that the balck dog remedy for rahu 6 has the logic of controling rahu through ketu. thanks for ur explanations the remedial measures are being understood, with the logics backing them, thus removing the tag of totkas.

thanks and regads

kulbir
