Guest guest
I've often thought that opposite *signs* are distinct, but opposite *houses* do actually form more of an axis - the " lower houses " being what you get if you restrict the " upper houses " . For instance, the 9th is about further education and long-distance travel (I assume the house meanings are pretty much the same in sidereal and tropical); if you restrict this, you get primary education and short-distance travel, which is the 3rd. The 8th is about other people's resources - and many truly rich people get this either by inheritance or by managing other people's resources; if you restrict this, you have to rely on your own resources, which is the 2nd. Guest guest
Hi Therese, This is all in keeping with Saturn ruling democracy. Your friend's chart would be interesting as an individualized expression of the purity of this rulership. In Jyotish Saturn is supposed to be a good sign for Saturn, and in this case Saturn's nature comes through loud and clear. Therese
