My heart is full of anger, resentment, pain and revenge. I am sorry but I did not/could not follow the earlier exchanges (too far from " home " too many battles of mine to fight and life to look after etc!) but your posting and the message within it strangely hit 'home'! One of the most important elements in the making of a jyotishi, I am speaking very generally here, is vakshuddhi. It is not a simple black and white or binary phenomenon or possibility but a process, an endeavour that goes on for life,perhaps lifetimes. It goes beyond spell-checking, grammar, concise statements -- stuff that most successful scientists I hope are made to learn, by personal training, supervisors, peer reviewers and last but not least by " students " ! And after many years at science and jyotish one thing that becomes easier to admit is: Miles to go before I sleep! As Robert frost said long ago! Guest guest Posted August 28, 2009 Report Share Posted August 28, 2009 TAN, MAN, DHAN SABSE UPER VAN (Remedy for Global Warming) If we seriously ponder in the original treatise/testimonial and conclude w.r.t vastu of plantation, we found that no tree/plant is bed provided its shadow should not fall on the building. This is logically true that few trees have deep roots/off roots/off shoots for which scientifically they may damage the foundation of the building. But if we see to days Global Warming environment, of course after saving our foundation of the building and we have sufficient space also, we should encourage for still more and more plantation. In books specific directions have also been specifed of the various trees. If time, space, patience etc. permits we should follow them also.
