Dear Miglani Ji/Bhooshan Ji/Trivedi & Tyagi ji,My replies to your suggestions are in capital letters. You can see where the whole fuss stands.Dear Punit Ji, you are well aware of astronomy, please check up the errors because it is a lengthy reply may some errors remain

============================================================If I have understood you correctly you mean to say that :We should look up for the Ascendant in the sarini for the same time as given irrespective of the place of birth.

YES YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD CORRECTLY. YOU WILL KNOW THAT THERE WILL NEVER BE A DIFFERENCE OF SIX SIGNS AS YOU GIVEN IN YOUR EARLIER CALCULATIONS.NO DOUBT ONE HAS TO APPLY LATITUDINAL CORRECTIONS TO ASCENDENT WHICH RANGES FROM 0.5 DEGREE TO 1.00 PER DEGREE PER LATTITUDE. HIGHER IS THE LATTITUDE HIGHER RATE OF CORRECTION PER DEGREE LATTITUDE. For example if some one is born at 7 am on January 13, 1972 in London, we should look up the Sarini and say that his Lagna would be Makar at one degree [ 1Cp0] Let us examine your contention through a few examples Date of birth for all the places : January 13, 1972Time of birth for all the places : 7 am [ no DST] Lagna from the Sarini for all the places should be : Makar at 1 degree [ ayanansha correction not done] Now let us find out the Lagna through software and see how correct the Lagna from the Sarini is: Lagna through the software Madras : 3 Cp 51 [ Makar at 3d51]-SOFTWARE 1 CP 0 -SARNII ADD SOME MORE CITIES OF INDIA

DEAR MIGLANI JI, SARNIS NEVER BE SO INACCURATE AS YOU SAID. THERE MAY BE MINOR ERRORS DUE TO MANUAL CALCULATIONS AND LATITUDINAL CORRECTIONS. BECAUSE, THE RATE OF CORRECTION CHANGES EVERY 10 DEGREE OF LATTITUDE. EVEN FOR THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE YOU NEED TO CHECK THE PERIMETERS, THE SOFTWARE IS USING. Dear Miglani ji, Just a small correction that this is NOT the stand taken by this forum.

Everybody is free to use whatever method s/he likes and finds working. I personally prefer to discuss analytical part rather than mathematical part to prove or disprove something. For example, we have discussing it in the

past that astronomically Rahu and Ketu can not be in the same house, but in Lal Kitab it is true. That doesn't prove Lal Kitab incorrect. We need to analyse and discuss multipe foreign charts and check its applicablitiy.

Based on that only we should conclude something. Thanks & Regards, Punit Pandey On 11/10/07, krishna pal miglani <

Dear Kalsi ji,

We are not interested in any more tricks. If you are willing to have

a fair, fearless and objective academic discussion to be carried step

by step I am prepared to take you on.

Sincerely,

KP Miglani
