More astrological comments- Another case

" There are many astrologers who do not score not even

one hit in they life,

despite they continuosly advance or give many and

successive dates for events

that never happen. In my opinion they should stop

doing so. But nobody recalls

their failures nor try to make them conscious that

they should better abandon

astrology. "

" Of course if you continue giving successive dates,

somebody will be able to

agree with the date of the attack, in case it is

finally done, due to the

obsession Bush has with ousting Saddam. But this is

not astrological

prediction, only guesses. "

" To summarize my point, it is my honest opinion that

even if we knew his exact

time of birth, we would be unable to advance and to

warn him of the risk he had

of dying in an accident like that, because his chart

does not give any hint for

it. "

" This is one of the many charts I had found where

astrology does not offer any

clue. Where it is completely mute. "

English may not be your first language and it may be

because of this, that your ideas are not presented as

you would want them to be.

When I read the above it seemed clear to me that you

were against predicting events astrologically. Your

entire thread seemed to focus on the uselessness of

" prediction " .

Now you write " Quite contrary to that, I had always

insisted in the convenience of anticipating events,

instead of waiting to read what happens and then run

to give the astrological explanation. "

FYI: I'm not interested in debating you... I will

point out that your writing though seems to imply that

anyone questioning your viewpoint is creating an

unhealthy " atmosphere " .... That is silly....

Silence implies agreement... Much of your " modern "

astrologer thinking is " tropical " in nature.... When I

disagree with what I read I usually express dissent.

Nothing personal.... Just expressing a difference of

opinion or in your case explaining how what you write

can be interpeted...

As for houses.... How many are there? 12? 8? Where do

they begin? Where do they end? Are they vedic? are

they tropical?

Fact is... the angles begin the explanation process of

charting along with the planets....The Asc., MC,

etc...

The position of the planets being in the foreground,

middlegroud or background continue that process of

definition.

Interpetation Of Sidereal Charts within Tropical

metapfors is an illicit perception. I would like to

know what 98% of Sideralists think about when the idea

of " houses " is presented.

What principles do you consider to be the foundation

of " house " utilization?

Jivio

PS: In my work... " houses " are relatively the least

developed " tool " in my astro toolbox. Would I like to

see their value increase? Absolutely....

FYI: I have experienced/witnessed very little value in

the " houses " compared to analyzing the angles. They do

not facilitate understanding the essence of timing.
