Guest guest
While Sidereal Astrology has repeatedly demonstrated its superiority at prediction (even Tropicalists like Robert Hand concede that correcting for precession is absolutely necessary for timing transits, especially Solar and Lunar Returns), not to mention making sense out of charts like Adolf Hitler's (a peaceful, tolerant, artistic Taurus, with an exalted Venus and a debilitated Mars? Hitler? Not!), one challenge remains -- namely, what to do with the Equinox points, which, because they are to the Sun what the Moon's nodes are to the Moon, I'm going to refer to them as the Solar Nodes. While using nodes of either a luminary or a planet rather than constellations to determine " signs " is obviously dubious -- after all, why name the signs after the constellations unless the constellations have the power and influence? -- if the Moon's nodes have power, then so must the Sun's, even if their role is not determining the boundaries of the " signs " . The Moon's nodes point to how an individual deals with social trends, luck, opportunities, and other externals. The Sun's nodes, therefore, at least in theory, would deal with the individual's internal issues, foresight, archetypes, etc. Where the Lunar nodes deal with karma, the Solar nodes would point to the key to freedom from karma. If the Lunar nodes are about luck, then the Solar nodes would be about transcending randomness. Yes, I know I'm being speculative, and this idea should be researched -- your thoughts, please.
