Perhaps the only way to attempt to study these divisional charts is with groups of charts, all of which share something similar in life. If they do indeed work, eventually they could be used for rectification. >And even when one consults divisional charts, one has >to increase the importance of the vargas to account for the often huge >differences in life trajectories. In my own experience, I don't think it's possible to correctly interpret a natal chart without at least the navmasa. The navamsa 'houses' (signs) and aspects do seem to matter a lot, and also how exact the natal to navamsa crossovers are. Somehow the relevant divisional charts have to fit correctly into the natal chart. How can the natal chart tell us everything when one ascendant lasts for approximately two hours, not to mention the positions of the Moon and other planets? Everything is compounded by the inexactness of birth times. >It's funny how awareness of the twin problem is often brought about by the >closeness of it in our lives. We need Plan B at the beginning... I see the natal chart as only a very broad brush stroke. It all brings us back to the inevitable--astrology is still in its infancy.
