Querry regarding Alum (phitkari) and a Request

Respected Varun ji,

 

Use of alum has been reccommended to cleanse teeth

for mercury. Some say that alum should be powdered as such and applied

to teeth whereas others say that alum should be first heated (khil

karana) and then powdered . What is the correct application.

 

Secondly various plants/trees like kikkar, deak, meswak, palahi etc. find

mention in the book. It would be very kind of you if pictures of these are

uploaded in the files section.
