The problem of astrology:the astrologers

I had always said that I have a dispassionate and analytical relationship with

astrology.

 

This has led me to study in depth the different schools, and to evaluate the

different techniques developed and implemented in order to anticipate events,

which is for me the essence and real purpose of astrology as a divinatory art.

 

I definitely abhor of the trend of the astrologers in waiting for an event to

hapen and then to run to find some connections, forgetting that it is ALWAYS

possible to find any connection between any event and a given chart.

 

Even by using a " dart chart " , fabricated entirely by positions found by chance

or by aim , it is possible to find connections between the respective planetary

positions.

 

The other trend that mesmerizes me is the use of their own charts by the

astrologers , without taking care if it has any historical foundation, in the

case of the nations, and if it corresponds to the birth certificate in the case

of persons.

 

Some hindu astrologers had adopted their own birth hour for Hussein ignoring

that even the date is also false. This demonstrates that no matter which date

you use it is possible to " find connections " , although completely spurious.

 

This is clearly shown also with the Irak bombing. There is no reliable data for

Irak nor for Saddam Hussein, but a lot of astrologers are claiming they already

had anticipated the war, like if Bush hasn`t made clear long ago that Saddam was

going to be the scapegoat of the World Trade attack.

 

But even knowing in advance that Bush would attack Irak, no one anticipated the

exact date and hour.

 

And what is more ironic and nobody has noticed it, is that the charts of both

Irak bombings only have one thing in common, the presence of Jupiter in cancer,

the sign where it allegedly is exalted.

 

And don`t forget that jupiter is exactly transiting the first house and

ascendant of Bush.

 

I think that in this case,as in many other, hindu astrology is the only school

that offers a better explanation of why the presence of jupiter in the ascendant

sometimes leads to acts contrary to the nature of jupiter.

 

USA chart:

 

When ever there is a mundane event that affects the United States, astrologers

again involve in the polemics of which is the chart.

 

Although I am a latin-american and don`t live in USA, as a practicant of

astrology it is my duty to find and investigate the reliability of the chart I

use,and this has led me to investigate about the historical basis for a possible

chart.

 

In a previous email I mentioned that July 4th/1776 had better basis for being

considered an important step in the formation of USA as a nation than the July

6/1775 chart proposed by Boyd.

 

And you can`t be mislead because you find exact connections with just 2 events.

 

It is my conclusion that the July 4th chart offers more connections in the long

term, after analyzing all the major events such as the many wars, president

assassinations and even recessions.

 

I have the book written by Boyd and for me is a lousy book. I had a better image

of Firebrace as an astrologer than what he shows in that book.

Soon it will be celebrated the ceremony. I had always made my predictions in

advance, in order to test the principles of the school I practice and also my

skills in interpreting and reading them.

 

But since I don`t have the data of Nicolle Kidman nor the data for the

interpreter of the Pianist I decided not to give any prognostic.

 

But no matter who wins, there will be astrological connections for all and

consequently tons of ink will be spent tomorrow in the astrology books and

lists, showing the " exact correspondences " offered by astrology and specially

exalting the merits of the schools they practice.

 

Sometimes I think that the worst enemies of astrology are its practicants.
