Guest guest
Hello everyone, I feel more comfortable here than anywhere else. It seems that what was taken for granted in tropical astrology may be used with a sidereal zodiac. However, I understand western siderealist created few techniques I am not aware of. I learn them later. So, if I have well understood Steve in his last answer he has given me, I may use any technique I feel well with in sidereal. But is there an extent where it stops? For example, I intend to study the following techniques, as forecasting ones: (1) radix as source and personality and forecasting (2) primary directions (3) progressions (secondary directions); (4) solar and lunar return (lunar return from solar returns) as thaught by Volguine; (5) transits (6) synastry Those are regular tropical techniques. So, it means to me that I take any tropical manual and use it on a sidereal zodiac... In fact, to me, choosing a sidereal zodiac means chossing a space of work, not specific techniques. Am I wrong? -- Kind regards - François

Hello Dark Star, Thank you for your reply. Finally I think I will be able to get the best of the two worlds: determinations from Morin (he is a master to me) and an historically correct sidereal zodiac with Fagan-Bradley. This is interesting to experiment. -- Best regards - François
Guest guest
Francois... Sidereal techniques?... techniques developed by siderealists are not inherently sidereal... hence the reverse would be true... sidereal? tropical? astronomical? Is any technique soley pedigree? Juan PS: nah! Dark Star <pansophia wrote: Francois, You are absolutely correct though some shortsightedly might want to say you are wrong broadly and grandly You are absolutely correct.
