Dear Sunnysingh ji,

To begin with one should go by a checklist. The checklist will be drawn based on the problem. There is no single standard check list. If a couple has no progeny the checklist will be different as against if the problem is of profession or that of financial stability.

Roughly speaking the analysis will go some thing like this:

[a] Planets placed in the house

planets associated with

[c] the aspect on the planets

[d] the specific problem and the karak house

[e] The planet year the native is going through

[f] finally identifying the planet/s causing the problem

[g] formulating the upaya

Depending on the nature of the problem, both the janma kundali and Varsh phal kundali should be used. If the problem is of cronic nature then there would be indications in the janma kundali, and if the problem is of recent origin then the Varsh phal kundali and the gochar [transit] will be helpful. The Dasha and the antardasha will be used for confirmation of the analysis.

Apart from the above I use traditional astrology Vinshottari dasha; the transits [gochar]; and various divisional charts e.g. I will use D-7 for progeny; D-10 for profession and D-24 for higher studies and so on.

Once the astrologer has gone through a thousand or so horoscopes, the checklist is there at the back of the mind. It is the experience that gives him the insight into things. It doesn't take more than a few minutes to finalise the analysis.

God bless you

Bhooshan Priya
