Thanks for sparing your valuable time for my query. But I am sorry to write that being follower of Parashar system, I am not able to understand Mercury of Laal Kitab. In Laal Kitab Mercury can be in opposition to Venus which is not possible in Astronomy. Mercury+Ketu, Mercury+Venus in "Muthi Bandha ke gharo me" Mercury_Jupiter, Mercury+Mars are malefic in laal Kitab irrespective of any house. While discussing remedy for Sun+Ketu, "lal goli of iron" you wrote that for Mercury

the ‘chaal and buniyad’ of the planets could be corrected." How a planet which gives the results of his conjunct ed planet can correct the Chaal and Buniyad of other planet.

More over why is the necessity of Saturn iron to separated the Lalima of Sun? Sun and Mars are friend, Sun is karaka and other is lord of the house. Both will go hand in hand. How one can enter political field with out the courage of Mars, lalima? The explanation apprears to be forced.

Ketu in 8th you forget the dictu m of laal Kitab “ bachchon ki muhabbat ke gam mein chhat par rone wala kuttaâ€. The combination of Ketu and Mars and Venus and Mars in 8th be beneficial? Mercury in the 9th house is Kodi when with other planets Mars in 8the is in his pakka house. Can we change the nature of the planet in his pakka ghara.

I have little knowledge of Laal Kitab, You are the master. I beg apology if I have commented wrongly.

Respected Kursija ji,Ketu placed in the 8th house will not be malefic for progeny per se unless it is afflicted. mercury are together. Therefore the combination basically becomes shubh mars + Venus + ketu. Although the Mars + ketu combination in the 8th house is considered as bad, there might be some saving grace because of mars being shubha. The best upaya would be getting the ear pierced and wear a gold stud or wire for 96 hours at least. There can be quite a few alternative upaya. Since we do not discuss upaya in this group, I will not go into them.Sun, mercury and Saturn in the 9th: In this case these planets will give their own effect and that too benefic. Because of the presence of the mercury, there will be no hostility between the sun and the Saturn. Yes, this combination will adversely affect the Jupiter and its significations. Yes, the Lal Kitab says that after the marriage there could be a possibility of Ketu going ‘manda’. In this situation the Saturn would automatically help, if not a saturn upaya will be helpful. To my mind the marriage establishes a Venus [ rahu + ketu ].
