Guest guest
I'm not setting up many ingress charts until I have the Solar Fire manual--I have too many little questions about the program, but I did just set up charts for one of the most serious quakes: a 7.9 quake September 1, 1923 in Kanto, Japan. 143,000 people were killed. 35.40 139.08 02.58 UTC K Leo Ingress: Quake Chart: Quarti-Solar: (Sun at 7 30 Leo) ------ Asc 18 59 Ta ---> MC 18 38 Le Jup 18 41 Li ---> Moon 18 33 Ar (opp ingress Jup) (quincunx Asc) N No 18 47 Le (mean node, at the MC) Sun 14 57 Le <---Asc 14 56 Aq Mars 7 22 Le <---Sun 7 30 Le Asc 7 03 Sc In the Leo Ingress chart the Sun and Mars are at the IC. The Moon trines the MC: (MC/IC: 28 Cp/Cn; Mars 27 Cn; Sun 0 Leo; Moon 25 Vi) In the quake chart Mars is square the ascendant, partile 7 degrees of Le/Sc. Moon is trine the MC, partile at 18 degrees; Sun is conjunct the MC--orb of 4 degrees. The planets at the IC in the ingress chart appear at the MC and/or aspect the ascendant in the quake chart. If someone can tell me how to post charts from Solar Fire in the file section, I can posts the charts. Anny or Matthew, could you post the Fagan-Bradley figures to compare to those above? I calculated the Leo ingress chart for August 1923 and also the quarti-solar just before the quake. The quarti-solar also seems to tie in with the quake chart since the 7th cusp Sun falls in the degree of Mars/Asc in the quake chart, and the Asc degree is partile opposition to the quake Sun at the MC. Venus is also involved in the angular configuations with a slightly wider orb. I posted only the most exact figures. Thanks, Therese
