Chris, John hadn't even seen the charts. I doubt that he made any prediction at all. He was making a very important point which had passed almost all of us by: If W's chart doesn't show a loss, he stays in office. Conversely, most western astrologers who compared Kerry/Edwards with Bush/Cheney saw better configurations in the K/E charts. John Frawley astutely pointed out why this was so: They experienced a very sudden and dramatic rise in the public eye within the space of a few months. In this care it wasn't wishful thinking--the superior transits were actually there. Therese

He was engaged in a competition with Kerry. Does he win or lose? Sure he's not relocating but that too ought to be clearly observable to an astrologer. > > Conversely, most western astrologers who compared Kerry/Edwards with > Bush/Cheney saw better configurations in the K/E charts. Scott Peterson is experience a huge rise in public profile. So many people know who he is and what he looks like. But the question is: will he walk? Astrologers predicting elections are asserting who will win the competition, not who will experience a rise in public profile.
