I was just about to congratulate John Frawley for not using Sedna when I

realized that he couldn't know if he hadn't looked at the charts. That a leading

English astrologer wouldn't have looked at the Bush & Kerry charts is not to be

believed. Truth is he didn't want to risk his high position in being wrong.

Hi DS,

Agreed.

I don't understand this dance of denial that some astrologers are wont to

engage in after they miss a prediction. Why are they so afraid of being

wrong I wonder? Is it all about ego that refuses any limits?

Astrologers like to think of themselves as knowing more than most people

since they have access to this special, hidden knowledge. That knowledge is

the source of much of their self esteem. When it fails them, they feel

crushed. Ego springs into action to defend the vulnerable subject,

regardless of the consequences to logic.

Maybe if they stop thinking they know more than other people about how the

world works, they would be less likely to avoid taking their lumps.

We astrologers don't know better, we know different.

Hi Chris,

On the Noel Tyl forum all the Kerry predictions that had sprung up a week before

the election like mushrooms after a summer rain disappeared within two days.

Chris,

I don't know that he did. As you mentioned, too musch to lose -so little to

gain.

A cosmologist with attitude got it right in three pages but they got rid of him.

Contrary post are soon disappeared.
