Guest guest
Hello everybody, The post below by Ron Grimes should merit our close attention. This is a very specific way of reading a horoscope with full emphasis on the planets and where they are located. Rony, since many members here aren't familiar with Jyotish, it would be helful if you'd define statements like: Mars is a 'functional benefic.' Mars is strong through 'dig bala.' Defining unfamiliar terms would be helpful to everyone. Greg, please note the paragraph below on anger and fear. You can't get much more intense and analytical (depth psychology) than that. Rony's post is a very good example of how the sidereal signs are 'right on' and important. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At 02:00 AM 1/13/05 -0000, Ron Grimes wrote: > >I don't see it that way. Guest guest
Thanks, Therese. I appreciate your comments - especially those about the psychological insights, given your background. , Therese Hamilton <eastwest@s...> wrote: > it would be helful if you'd define statements like: > Mars is a 'functional benefic.' Mars is a functional benefic because in a Cancer rising chart, he is owner of the 5th and 10th houses, which are both considered positive houses to own. > Mars is strong through 'dig bala.' A planet acquires " directional strength " by being in certain houses: * Mercury and Jupiter in the 1st * Moon and Venus in the 4th * Saturn in the 7th * Mars and Sun in the 10th Some use Rahu in the 7th since it is Saturn-like, and Ketu in the 10th since it is Mars-like.
