Hi Cynthia,

Just now I used Parashara's Light to calculate your chart as I wanted to

see the dasas. I had been using Solar Fire for some time and neglecting PL.

The two printouts reminded me of how different the western style chart can

look from the Vedic. The dasas are much more clear using sign-as-house

since Jupiter is in the 7th sign, and is the dispositor of Rahu. Jupiter is

exalted in the first in the navamsa (Cancer, natal 7th) while Rahu is in

the 11th with Saturn, 7th lord in the navamsa.

An interesting note: With the Krishnamurti ayanamsa you received your

engagement ring under Jupiter/Rahu/Rahu, which began on December 21. You

will marry under the same configuration.

So...Rony and other Jyotish astrologers: Which do you think fits better for

the ring? Jupiter/Mars/Moon (Lahiri) or Jupiter/Rahu/Rahu (Krishnamurti)?

Jupiter is obvious since it's exalted in lst in navamsa and is the 7th

natal sign.

Rahu is with Saturn, 7th lord in navamsa 11th--Taurus.

Mars is in navamsa 3rd in Virgo; Moon is in navamsa 9th with Venus in

Pisces; Venus rules navamsa 4th and 11th, Moon rules 1st.

I'd like to know how others would use the natal and navamsa charts for

Cynthia's engagement and marriage.

Therese
