Guest guest
The Huygen space probe has set down on Saturn's largest Moon, and the second largest Moon in the solar system, Titan--today (Jan 14th, 2005) at 5:13 AM EST (this was the expected time, may be off slightly). Named after it's discoverer, Christiaan Huygens, born April 14, 1629 in Den Haag, Netherlands. Titan discovered: March 25, 1655. Huygens death date: June 8, 1695 in Den Haag. Huygens himself had an exalted Saturn opposite the Sun. Nodes transiting close right now to these points---opening up another doorway. The Huygens probe is sending back data and will begin transmitting photos around 1:45 EST today. Guest guest
Thanks for the link Steve. Titan looks like a great place to retire to. Buy 100 acres, build me a little log cabin with an observatory out back where I can put my 100 inch reflector and watch the Earth explode. Now that would be real tasty, as WSB would say.
