Hi All,

 

As usual, I set up both Ingress charts for the month, the Krishnamurti and

Fagan-Bradley. This time it's the Capricorn Ingress. For this tragic event

of the Indian Temple stampede, the K chart is more descriptive. Scorpio 7

degrees rises with Uranus in the degree of the nadir with the Moon, both

squared by Mars. Rahu is near the 6th (equal) cusp trine the M.C.

 

The Fagan chart has 26 Libra rising. No planets are on the angles, though

Pluto is trine the M.C.

Also an e-mail has just come into my mailbox from my daughter who lives in

South India. There has been massive political rioting and burning in the

state of Andra Pradesh.

 

Does anyone have a natal chart for India they consider reliable? (Please

forgive my faltering memory if this has been posted on this site in the past.)

The stampede broke out on Tuesday when about 300,000 people converged on

the temple. Witnesses said the stampede started when pilgrims slipped on

the temple's steep stone steps, which were wet with coconut water spilled

from fruit offerings.

 

Scores were crushed to death on the narrow path to the temple, on a craggy

hilltop about 4,000 ft above sea-level.

 

The commotion then spread to the bottom of the hill, where some people

attacked stalls selling flowers and food. Fire then swept through the shops

after cooking gas cylinders exploded, possibly sparked by an overhead power

cable, officials said.

 

Of the 258 who died, more than 200 had been identified, according to Subrao

Patil, the top district official. More than half those killed were women

and at least 14 were children.

 

Newspapers said the fire may have been started by rioters...(clipped)
