Well, lurking will do from time to time :-) But first I'll introduce my self, My name is ken, I'm almost 50 years old and married with six kids and 4 grand children. I used to live in California in the city of Santa Clara, now I live in the high desert of Nevada between Reno and Carson city. with all the kids grown gone now I have time to pursue my many personal interests, one of them being astrology. In perusing this I have come to sort of a " Y " in road, sort of speaking. Of curse that would be Topical or Sidereal as to the direction I should go with. In the west Topical seems to be the norm, Sidereal seems to make more sense to me in a logical sort of way from what I have learned so far. As an indication to where I'm at, presently with astrology is that I'm learning to make charts by hand mainly my own :-) and learning where everything fits. I do have a copy of Solar Fire V5 but not using it presently. I have this notion that by doing a few charts by hand I'll get a good grasp of just what the program is doing or what it will do. But for right now I'm interested in the comparing of the two, I tend to look at the shadow side of readings, for I believe this is where astrology has any real benefit to man, really. But that's just present thought, it could change. :-) So for now I do the Lurking thing and take a look at the links page and files page and try to get up to speed on what's going on, also try to figure out what the Sidereal Solar Return (SSR) Progression Worksheet is all about. Being a newbe is such a pain....LOL Ken
