Guest guest
We've all at one time or another been caught in the house system controversy. I happened to have ordered Robert Hand's WHOLE SIGN HOUSES a while ago, and have just started to read it. I had seen this book mentioned here and there over the past few years but thought, " Well, what is there to know about whole sign houses? India has always used them, and every Jyotish astrologer knows about whole sign houses. " Well, I sure had a lot to learn. This is one terrific little book that goes into the small details of mis-translation from ancient writers and many other matters very pertinent to any astrologer's book of knowledge. The history of houses--how and way--is traced in this small book. In my opinion, Rob Hand's WHOLE SIGN HOUSES is a **must** for all students and astrologers. It sets the entire house situation upright on a firm historical base. The cost is only about $8.00 from Arhat or Astroamerica.com and one other internet site--I forget which one. (48 pages) Because of the cost of postage, it might be cheaper to have your local metaphysical book store order this book for you. I hope some of you take the opportunity to purchase a book that is such a necessary foundation for understanding houses and how they developed.
