Thank you for sharing. Dave Thanks, Dave! It takes a lot of effort to work out those details. No wonder astrologers mostly bypass research. Guest guest
Therese, Is any chance to put the actual birth data on the site? I don't understand: Astrodatabank keeps the copyright for people's birth data? Mihai Technical advice: from Solar Fire export charts in GIF format. The file will be smaller and clearer. JPEG is for photos. therese hamilton wrote: > The first stage of a writers/journalists pilot study is here: > > http://users.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm > >

ADB has recently been sold, and I don't know who owns the software. Thanks for the GIF tip. I'll try it. I don't know a whole lot about file formats! Perhaps I can post some charts to go along with the Writers' article. Therese

So if anyone here would like to see data for various names from the article, please list the names here and I'll post the data on the Lost Zodiac site. http://users.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm Therese
Guest guest
Hi Therese, Thanks for posting that. I can't accept your initial premise that writers signs are actually sidereal earth signs. To me, this is a contentious question that requires proof ahead of anything else. Perhaps you've done this already to your satisfaction, but you must know that a majority of siderealists (of all stripes) do not concur. From my own passive observation, I find that sidereal air signs seem to have more correlation with writers but I would be the first to admit that I'm allowing preconceived notions to filter my results. I haven't researched it carefully, probably because I don't think there would be much correlation to find in a statistical sense anyway. Signs are trumped by other factors. At most one might find maybe 5-10% correlation, which isn't too helpful when it comes to delineating a chart. Just my two cents.
