Guest guest
Hi, it's been some time that I didn't enter here, so my best wishes for you all. I was wondering if you could enlighten me on this topic of the three new planets and how it is going to affect astrology as we know it. Also, they are saying today that Pluto is no longer a planet as we thought it was, it's like a minor planet, belonging to those remote and cold little planets or asteroids in our system. Thanks for answering me whenever any of you can.

Hi... I expect that astrologers will contiinue to use Pluto in thir horoscopes, though it would make sense to place less emphasis on Pluto ruling a sign, which most tropical astrologers say is Scorpio. Some sidereal astrologers have given Pluto to Aries along with Mars. No doubt astrologers who use asteroids will continue to use Ceres and don't care if it's called an asteroid or a dwarf planet. I wouldn't be surprised if astrologers continue to use nine planets. This may also not be the end of the matter for 'all eternity.' Who knows? Astronomers may shift their opinion again in the future. But if you look at Pluto's orbit, it's way off compared to the other planets. Of course, from the astrological point of view, having an out of kilter orbit could symbolize experiences beyond the ordinary such as near-death or astral experiences. Astronomers deal only with the physical universe. Perhaps the decision of astronomers is a pointer to astrologers to give Pluto more of a metaphysical emphasis. Edgar Cayce said the Pluto had to do with the developing awareness toward the spiritual that would become evident in the next 200 years. It may be that many of the ideas currently associated with Pluto by astrologers simply belong to Mars or one of the other planets. Remember that Pluto rules a realm not of the earth.
