Guest guest
We all go through periods where it seems necessary to reorient ourselves in terms of what we want to do and what tools we use to do that which interests. I wouldn't rush out for more books and more software until I knew where I wanted to go with astrology. " Make haste slowly " is the appropriate phrase, I believe. For my Solar and Lunar Returns I use a freeware program called Riyal32 which is terrific in terms of accuracy and ease of use. Juan Revilla of Costa Rica has developed this program. There are several basic approaches to Solar and Lunar Returns, each has its adherents. If you want to post chart data that you are currently studying and/or having problems with, it is likely that some of us might comment and use our approaches to casting charts and making interpretations -- even the approach taken to use astrological factors in a chart is up to individual use. I've got quite a few books on Solar Returns and I have found less commonality and more diversity among the authors than I would have thought reasonable. In any case, nobody will ask you to leave the list (we don't expect anyone to not be civil and polite) for asking questions. So feel free to post. Therese moderates this list, and would tell you much the same, I'm sure. As for your Moon-in-the-Ascendant chart approach, I have seen many ways of using the Moon. Some people are very attuned to Moon movement and charts and not to Sun-Solar charts. Why not give us an example. Charts can be put into the files section as .jpg files, for example. Guest guest
hi David thank you for the kind reply! sorry for the untimely response as busy as ever w/ everyday realities of life. (my response below) , " David Monroe " <dadsnook wrote: > > We all go through periods where it seems necessary to reorient > ourselves in terms of what we want to do and what tools we use to do > that which interests. " Make haste > slowly " is the appropriate phrase, I believe. thats very good advice! i have the latest and greatest solar fire software and well no time to read books right now anyway! - speaking of which is there a 'preferred' or best vedic/sidereal software program? > > For my Solar and Lunar Returns I use a freeware program called Riyal32 > which is terrific in terms of accuracy and ease of use. (ie change your destiny by relocating for your birthday! - any additional/current thoughts on this ?) > > In any case, nobody will ask you to leave the list (we don't expect > anyone to not be civil and polite) for asking questions. (and i can relate) > > As for your Moon-in-the-Ascendant chart approach, I have seen many > ways of using the Moon.
