understanding the sidereal zodiac calendar

Dave, the reason that I would like to know the sidereal dates of other people's

sun sign personalities for the years they were born. I really enjoy using the

sidereal zodiac to help me understand a person's personality based on ones birth

date. I am still unsure of how the dates change depending on the year. For

example if Leo starts on Aug. 16 in 2007 would it be different for 1967? If I

were to research historical people like Mohandas Gandhi who was born on October

2 1869, could I still easily predict him as being a Virgo personality by using

the same zodiac? Or would I need a separate and unique calendar for every year?

Do the dates change back every four years like the leap year system or are they

completely unique for every year and therefore the Jan. 14 threshold for

Capricorn (used for 2007) would be completely off for some distant year like say

1929 or 1789?

sincerely,

Why would you need an astrological calendar for 1970 or any other

non-current year? I ask this for a reason as I can't imagine a need

for an old astrological calendar. So, again, I ask, " What do you hope

to do with an old astrological calendar? "

There are many other ways to obtain astrological data for any date in

the past or the future, having a calendar for a whole year seems

redundant and perhaps useless.

Through the use of other resources, you can:

** Find the planet positions for any date, past, present, future.

** Cast a chart to find the angles, houses, signs and planets in the

combinations that represent you or another person.

** Determine the date and time of day when an equinox or solstice

point occurs for a given location.

** Find when and where a new planetary cycle will occur, or where and

when a given aspect between two planets will occur.

** Track the eclipse path of a lunar eclipse.

But, it is highly unlikely that you will find a store with an old

astrological calendar for a given year. And, astrologers don't really

use astrological calendars except to hang on the wall to remind them

of current transit cycles and eclipses and stuff of a general

interest. They certainly aren't useful for casting charts.
