Guest guest
Hi, everyone, I just wanted to say a little about myself. I am 57, female, and I live in the backwoods of Arkansas. I did not start out here, but here I am. When I began studying Solar and Lunar return charts I discovered the need for sidereal astrology. Where I live there is very little interest in true astrology and it can get lonely in the backwoods for people like us.

Hello Kazan, Welcome to the sidereal group, though we've been very quiet lately. The internet is a God-send for astrologers who live in isolated areas. From our own computers we can contact with anyone anywhere in the world. Speaking of solar and lunar return charts, I finally broke down and calculated several return charts for Obama and Hillary Clinton. (After the last two 'fixed' elections, I had promised myself I'd forego any futher study of election charts.) If the 8:02 am time is correct for Hillary, and the 1:06 pm time for Obama, he's going to come out on top. Although I know that these times are debated and not verfified, they seem to be working. I used the Ennead (40 day) charts discussed by Jim Eshleman in his solar return book as well as the solar returns, and the charts look quite definite to me with the times above. Mostly I use the rules of Jyotish, which means I use the lords of houses to reach a conclusion as well as angular planets and aspects to those planets. Kazan is an unusal name. Can you tell us anything about this name? I don't know anything about it. Thanks, Therese (moderator)
Guest guest
Hi Therese, You mentioned Hillary. It's funny because I use the 8.00 am chart for her and I am predicting that she will win -- the converse of your position. Why do think she will lose if the 8.02 am chart is correct? Guest guest
Hi Chris, If 8:00 am chart is correct , then Hillary is currently passing through Ve/Sat . The subperiod ruler Saturn, that will prevail during election , no doubt is Raja Yoga planet for Li Rising but is very weak by occupying the *9th navamsa of Cn *and Mn ,that deposes for Saturn, is extremely weak by *being in Rasi Sandi (past 29* of Aq) .* Moreover one point I notice in my personal studies , , when the Dasha and sub period rulers owns an angle , the *sub period will invariably bring some untoward incident along with pleasant experiences. *This untoward event may have nothing to do with other possible good events promised by the major and sub period ruler. For example, if one runs the Dasha of 4L & sub period of 10L , one may get a job (10H) simultaneously the same subperiod may saw the death of father (10H-a maraka for father and 4H--death of father ) .Here you should notice that Hilary is having the Dasha of Ve owning ASC, an angle and sub period of Sat (4H) another angle probably leading to election debacle. Again , if you take 8pm chart with Ge Rising , she is under the sway of Sun/Rah ---Sun, the major period ruler is not only fallen but also* is in " Parama neecha " or deep debilitation point (past 9* of Li), a negative augury* ----Rahu (whether you take mean or True )the sub period ruler though exalted *is in 12H of failure* So whether the BT is 8am or 8pm, stars paints* " failure " * for Hilary Clinton Best Pranav On 2/25/08, Christopher Kevill <christopher.kevill wrote: > > Hi Therese, > > You mentioned Hillary. Guest guest
Hi Pranav, Thanks for sharing your views. I guess I don't see Saturn as being weak here. True, both it and its dispositor are in old age, but it's sitting at the very top of the chart -- a very strong placement imo. Moreover it is placed in the star of Mercury, and Mercury is very close to the ascendant, another sign of prominence.
