Guest guest
Hi all, I've launched a new site where I've collected pictures about famous people using ADB and Google with a planet alone straight on the Ascendants. The aim was to find out is there really any correspondence - do planets give a certain " look " ? It seems that they really do. The differences between groups are discernible, and they follow (mostly - but the exceptions are interesting) the common interpretations of planets. I've added comments of my own where I couldn't help but promote the sidereal zodiac. You can also show these pictures to non-astrologers and listen to what they see in them. The site contains sidereal signs and degrees for all the pictures. I've arranged the pictures according to triplicities, so you can see how triplicities look like on a sidereal zodiac. Do traditional triplicities work sidereally? Does sidereal Water really look " watery " , or does it actually look more " fiery " ? Does it look " cool and moist " ? Does is look more masculine or feminine? How should we define " masculine " and " feminine " - which one is more introverted, which is more extroverted (this is something you may think when you're looking at the pictures of the Sun and the Moon)? Guest guest
Sari! This is a very cool site. You've clearly put a lot of of work into it. Nicely done. I think the science side of things can be pretty tricky though. I know for psychological studies of the effects of attractiveness, respondents are asked to evaluate attractiveness of people in photos and their scores are averaged. This produces a representative sample of public opinion. It works fairly well because attractiveness is the independent variable and career status, income or interview performance are the dependent variables which are fairly easy to measure. Your site is suggesting a much trickier question -- but just as interesting -- where the physical appearance is the dependent variable. Very hard to measure that. Anyway, thanks again for your efforts. Beautifully organized site. If all astrologers had that much capacity for work and organization, we'd know a whole lot more than we do about astrology.
