Guest guest
Hello everyone, Just so I learn correctly from the start, are we using these terms (Vedic, Jyotish, Sidereal) interchangeably and do they mean the same thing? Thanks for sharing... Felicia

Vedic is an incorrect term for Jyotish. 'Vedic' was invented in California in the early 90s by astrologers who wanted to believe that India's horoscopic astrolog goes back many thousands of years to Vedic times. There was no horoscopic astrology at tht time, and even in Indian magazines I saw complaints about that term. The proper name for India's astrology is Jyotish. Sidereal simply refers to the sidereal zodiac used by both Eastern and Western astrologers. Western sidereal astrology of the non-Jyotish variety is called sidereal. This is what is known as the Fagan-Bradley school of astrology. Therese
