Guest guest
I also worry when a S/R emphasizes the dangerous-potential planets at the angles. This chart falls into the deeply concerned category. Let me note a few factors that do not seem to fall into the conventional sidereal practice. But then, I don't fall into a lot of categories. FIRST (in no particular order): Transiting Jupiter (29 Cap.) and Neptune (1 Aqu.) conjuncts WIC Pluto (27 Cap.). This squares the WIC MC at 0 Taurus. So, this aspect pattern has a Neptune-MC link. SECOND: the S/R itself has the WIC Neptune in the 10th 11 degrees from the MC. While Sidereal astrologers love tight, real tight, aspects, this Neptune-MC link mirrors the Neptune-MC link in the first note. THIRD: Transiting Uranus conjuncts WIC Saturn in the 3rd house area, but squaring the S/R Asc. This aspect pattern includes a Uranus-Asc. link. FOURTH: I use a special mid-point structure which utilizes the Asc.-to-MC arc in degrees and extends it from the MC toward the Descendant angle. For this chart, that point would be at 9 Cancer. I call this point the co-descendant; it represents where seemingly fated or external forces/events intrude into one's life. Here, at this point, we find the WIC Uranus. Treating this point as if it were an angle, we find an aspect-pattern of Angle-Uranus-N.Node. This mirrors the THIRD point's Uranus-Asc. link. FIFTH: The WIC N.Node squares the WIC Ascendant. The aspect pattern in the FOURTH note has S/R N.Node opposite the Co-Desc. point of my invention and the WIC Uranus. This is a mirror of the N.Node-Co. Desc. link. SIXTH: S/R Moon conjuncts S/R Saturn. In my methodology, I can interchange the nodal axis and Moon in term of interpretation. So, we have Moon-Saturn here widely square the chart's Asc. and just 11 degrees past the WIC Asc. The WIC Saturn is also square the chart's Asc. So, we have a linkage between Moon-N.Node-Saturn-Asc. here. SEVENTH: Finally, we have a Mars-Mars at the IC angle. I call these types of linkages " Similarity Patterns. " When very close aspects to the chart's angles, then these types of " other " aspects should draw one's attention. What we end up with is a collage of N.Node, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Asc., and M.C.! Presto, all of the dangerous planets and the angles are now involved. While this approach does not fit with what I have read about Sidereal practices, it works quite nicely in the real world where exactitude is not always so evident. Now, as far as Bert's figures and dates, those also look interesting. I've got to go check them out. I've also run the 2008 S/R and a PSSR chart for Jan. 20th, 2009. That also looks interesting. I'll have to post on that a little later. Dave
