Guest guest
I'm so glad I found this group! I've been telling people about their real " signs " for years. When I search on line, it's very hard to find any mention of the correct dates. I'm a retired teacher. I love science, especially astronomy. Any of you in Portland Oregon? I have a huge zodiac and planets thing for schools. Stargazing became fun for me after I saw H. A. Rey's (Curious George's dad's) book, The Stars. There's a 2007 edition. Two important pages are updated for each new edition. .. Jim Olsen, Oregon

Jim Olsen, Oregon Hi Jim, Welcome to our group which has been very silent lately. This often happens during summer. I believe we have members in Ashland, Oregon, but I don't know about Portland. Oh, yes! H.A.Rey's book is still a classic. I have a copy in my library. For more on the sidereal signs, please check out this website: http://users.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm When one considers the planetary lords of the signs as well as the exalted planets, they fit only in the sidereal zodiac. It's a mystery why the lack of correlation hasn't been noticed in the tropical zodiac. I continue to revise articles on the signs in relation to ruling planets, and hope to post them soon. Since the exact times and dates for the entry of the Sun into sidereal signs varies with the ayanamsa, we can't set definite times for these ingresses. This is the major complaint that tropical astrologers have for the sidereal zodiac. And it's a big complaint!
