Permit me to elaborate a bit. " Why the commonly accepted signs (are) wrong. " The commonly accepted signs would be taken to be those signs of the TROPICAL zodiac. There are very many thousands of astrologers in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere that would say you are wrong and that their signs are right. There are some astrologers, including those on this list, who would say that the SIDEREAL signs are the correct ones to use. I assume that you count yourself in this latter group. Many, many posts on this list and on other lists and in many books and in many lectures and seminars have addressed the " proof " of why one zodiac is the right one to use. Unfortunately, I have not yet read a convincing set of views, well expressed, that clearly makes the case for one zodiac being better than another. In my opinion, it would be difficult to write a convincing and clear statement that would do what countless others and millions of words have not yet done. " A list of the zodiac constellations with the dates the sun is in each constellation " Here is where the terminology can be taken wrongly. The Sun is considered, by Sidereal Astrologers, to appear to travel through sidereal signs --- not constellations. Although the Sun does move through the starry sky and the constellations, the exact bounds of the constellations can be hard to pin down and they vary greatly in length relative to the zodiac measuring/positional basis. The Sun's movement through the sidereal signs is easy enough to determine using software or an ephemeris. I can't answer for the list owner or moderator but my sense is that providing a listing of dates in which the Sun passes through a sidereal sign would indicate a level of astrological thought and practice similar to what newspapers and magazines offer. This is a completely wrong image that many list members would like to be associated with. We take our practice and study a bit more seriously. HOWEVER, I do join in your general thought that the heading for this list is wordy and should be better word-crafted to suggest the joy and excitement we find in our sidereal practices compared to what we view conventional tropical astrology to provide. Perhaps your questions will prompt discussion leading to changes that might be more descriptive of Sidereal practices. I hope I've answered your posting appropriately.
