Guest guest
Hi Dave: Much of the material which has been written on SRs is essentially position based, with a focus on the houses rather than the angles. Over the years, I have come to a place where the angles are primary for me. For many years, we flew all over the planet to get the maximum out of relocating returns (and this served us very well). Eventually, all the pesticide being used on the planes - coupled with all that is seemingly everywhere - has caused us to reduce our travel. Now I am at a point where my first concern is the keep the 'heat' off the angles. I would not say that in my world the angles are the only thing, but they are certainly the main thing. One other thing I've noticed is that the more we've relocated our various returns, the more we seem to build up some kind of an abstract and cumulative 'treasure'. This is subtle and difficult to speak to. But it is as if going on these relocated (Ciro says: " Aimed " ) returns, one is doing a kind of a pilgrimage . . . and some kinds of residual blessings are stored up. Certainly, it is the most productive and exciting way of making magic I've found. Warmly, John ===================================== David Monroe wrote: > > > > <%40>, " Dr. John D. Guest guest
John, and others. I have not concentrated on the practice of experiencing relocated solar returns as a " magical " or " otherwise " experience to be sought out and taken within oneself as a special moment. From that point of view I have to plead ignorance and can offer little in comment. I have seen the effects of relocated solar returns when one takes up a new life in a new location. Once one commits or adapts to a new area, one changes the emphasis on one's natal potential, as well as the experiences suggested by the new location's solar returns and other charts. I see this as related to the manner in which we identify with the rotational orientation of the Earth when the Sun reaches its actual Sun-Earth-Star relationship in its orbital travels. I can't easily describe the magical inner operations of ourselves that links to the Earth-Sun-Sky pattern of our natal chart or the means by which it shifts as we shift about the globe. I can only keep it in mind and marvel over its workings. Dave
