Guest guest
To Everyone, This forum had over 700 members listed, which was causing problems with the site. Many of these memberships were old from as far back as 2002. I've gone through and deleted members that requested " no e-mail. " Most likely those members have been long gone. I also deleted bouncing members, which means messages weren't going through to the e-mail addresses. Usually this means the e-mail address has been changed or discontinued. I aplogize If I've accidentally deleted a member who wishes to remain active. If so, please go to the forum and re-: - Sincerely, Therese Hamilton Moderator

I sometime like to to a list only for its archives and do not participate actively to it... -- Best regards, François

Hi François, I don't think it's possible to access the archives without joining the group. I didn't start this group, so I'm not sure how it's set up. At any rate, it's a simple matter to join, and there's no obligation or screening. You just click " join this group " and your're part of the group. The second part of membership is controlled by the moderator. Initially no one is allowed to post until their messages are approved. Initial messages go directly to the moderator who approve or delete them. If the poster is genuine and not spam, the moderator then places them on unmoderated status, and they can post at any time. You are now on unmoderated status. I think you re-joined a while ago with a new e-mail address (?) , since I would never have kept you on moderated status. Sometimes also messages get bounced (don't know why), and that can affect membership status. For myself, I tend to forget about sites unless I've asked for e-mails of the messages. I've finally started to post sign notes again on Lost Zodiac--just finished up Pisces which should be there in a day or two. I'll post it on the site rather than on this forum. I'm using a very old web program which isn't allowing me to do much with font size, so I'm trying to work that out. I have a lot of trouble with many of the newer web sites which tend to use very small fonts that I can hardly read. All I want is larger easy-to-read text, but mine is coming out too large.
