Guest guest
Sadly, on Amazon Trivedi's book is temporarily out of stock. The book has mainly excellent reviews as Stephen Glaser noted. Dave at Astroamerica has the book, but at a higher price than Amazon. http://www.astroamerica.com/v-t.html#t41 Dave writes: " ....Also included, full-color, full-page illustrations (by the author) of each nakshatra, each created during a lunar transit of the nakshatra in question. Despite the size, this is not the best book on Nakshatras. My personal favorites are by <v-defouw.htm#d54>Hart deFouw & Robert Svoboda and <v-shub.htm#nakshatra>K.T. Shubhakaran. I have also heard nice things about <v-defouw.htm#s96>Komilla Sutton and <v-g.htm#h63>Dennis Harness. " My comment: I like DeFouw's nakshatra commentary because it's unadorned by recent ideas by modern authors. I also like Kenneth Johnson's MANSIONS OF THE MOON. Books are so easily printed these days. It makes choosing the right book difficult. Komilla's book is beautifully illustrated, but she clouds the waters by mixing the mansions with tropical signs. I found a stack of her books at Barnes & Noble selling out for $4.98 (originally $25) Wish I'd bought the entire stack to share with other astrologers. It's a beautiful book, if not especially accurate. I bought two--gave one to an astrological friend.
