Guest guest
Dear kplearner1103, K.P. is far,far superior to the paramparik system... There are no limitations...but only one's knowledge and experience set the limits...a very important quality any budding astrologer should develop is intuition...here is one sure way... For this,Swami Vivekananda has advised... " the more you listen to your subconscious mind the more it will tell you...! " Hence it would be wise to cultivate the habit of listening to one's subconscious mind, because if one stops listening,it will stop " telling " , over time...! With the very best wishes, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! kplearner1103 <kplearner1103 wrote: Dear All group members, I would like to know that what are the limitations of the KP systems as compared to the Vedic paramparik system. If it was available then what is the power of God ? Where would karma have a place then ? Karma is pradhan, rest is secondary. The horoscope is just to indicate for eg.if a person knows that if his Jupiter is afflicted in the 6th house, from birth, means his liver may not be healthy upto the mark it should be. Once a person knows this from a horoscope, then that person if he has been drinking quarter of whisky till today, after gaining this knowledge should now, come down to 2 pegs a day gradually. Horoscope is to make our life better, but cannot be made best. He has to suffer for those purva paap karmas which cannot be mitigated completely, but can be reduced. He cannot get back the liver of a healthy person, but work towards it to make it healthier and not worser as indications are present in his horoscope. Apart from this if everyone would have access to all the knowledge about himself, then what would be the place of God ? Temples, prayers, shanti mantras, donations etc. which too place a important part in our life. God will allow access only to a limit, rest will be known only by Brahma, the creator. It is upto us mortals to devise a method/methods through which we can have a proper access to the knowledge allowed by God. As regards to KP and Paramparik, both have a important part to play. Before KP was introduced there were still many great astrolgers even modern day like BV Raman, who (with a wrong ayanamsa?) were considered to be fairly accurate in their predictions. Does that mean that the paramparik system fails. I dont think so. It may be that we dont know how to use the rules properly and fall in the trap of contradictions and innumerable commentaries and translations which may not be perfect. KP is definitely more easier for us as there are no ifs and buts, but of course we have to learn Lagna shuddhi, otherwise here too our predictions may fail because the whole system is based on SubLord theory and Up Nakshatra placements etc. I am not sure about the scope of spectrum available in this system but I am in for learning newer aspects of the same from like minded people, as there is more definiteness in pinpointing a hapenning to a date, as regards to other methods. But again we have to be very broad minded in our approach to all systems, take the best from all and apply universally all of them while dissecting a nativity and keep all common factors associated with all systems in our analytical study and no negativity towards those rules which do not match on a common platform. These which do not match, have to be kept aside, who knows they may be the key to certain horoscopes where our favourite approach fails to deduce and discern. Thank You, Bhaskar.
