What happens when one sign covers 2 houses in KP?

It some times happens that there are two houses in same sign. How to

infer if there is no planet in the sign. How sud V consider on basis of

sign lord alone. Please do not consider here other things. My q is only

about the sign lord's significance.< scholar>

dear scholarIN kp there is nothing like sign-lord signification. It is always the Cusp Lord . the Sign of the cusp is used. The house starts from with the cusp, and ends with the next cusp. Anything inbetween is considered in that house. Dear scholar, This can happen in K.P.,only when 2 cusps fall in the same sign...when both (house)sign-lords will be the same... The cusps will be then governed by the same Sign-lord,but different Star-lord and Sub-lord and Sub-sub-lords...most of the time... With best wishes, L.Y.Rao.
