Help regarding purchase of TOFH and Ephemeris

Dear All,

 

I am newbie to astrology, interested in Kp System (both Natal &

Horary) also equally Interested in Vedic system.

I am in a dilemma regarding which books to purchase,

I got the following 3 options,

1) raphael's ephemeris and tables of houses by raphael

2) Krishnamurthy(or krishnaman i think) ephemeris and UTOH by Bala

sundaram( sun-in-law of guruji).

3) Krishnamurthy ephemeris and tables of houses by raphael

My questions:

1) Which is the best Ephemeris for current years -- preferably sayana

ephemeris.

2) Which is the best TOFH in current date.

 

Kindly guide me in right direction.

Dear Laxmi Prasad,

 

KPAsro 2.5 of http://www.mmsindia.com/ gives the exact

positions of planets and cusps up to seconds (not more than 1-2

seconds difference in exceptional cases)as Astrodienst of

www.astrocom.com, provider of Swiss Ephemeris which is commonly used

by the latest SWs like KPAsro 2.5, Jagannatha Hora, Astro-Kundli,

Astracadabra etc.

If you want Sayana Ephemeris, the best is Raphels, but it is costly in India. You bettere invest in a good SW, then you wont need the Eophemeris, which you will have to busy for a number of years, nor the Table of Houses. If you want to do manual calculations, then option 2 is okay.
