Guest guest
Dear Sunil Bhattacharjya ji and all, Recently Sumerian (ancient Iranian) and Hittite (Troy/Turki) literature and source texts attracts my attention. * Epic of Gilgamesh and Sulgi poems of Sumerian literature is a feast to the soul and heart. * Same is true with the Hittite source texts that are coming-out recently. Some of them you can find at: http://www.hittites.info/history.aspx A very interesting thing to note is that both of them are the representatives of Agama temple cult, and shows a lot of similarity with ancient indian culture. While sumerian language seems to have a lot in common with the dravidian languages (such as Tamil), the Hittite language belongs to the Indo-Europian (Sanskrit like) family of languages. Love and regards,Sreenadh
