Dear Bhaskarji,

 

It is said that once somebody did some black magic on Adi Sankaracharya and he

had an incurable illness. His disciple suspected black magic to be the cause.

The disciple did " Om " japa and Adi Sankaracharya got cured. The man who did the

black magic got the illness.

Adhi Shankara got rid of the illness caused by black magic by

singng the 'Subrahmanya Bhujanga' in honour of God Subrahmanya

of Tiruchendur in Tamilnadu.

Another time, his enemies sent Bairava against him. He countered

it by singing the 'Kaala Bairavaashtakam'.

Dear Vandana ji,

 

This is a vast subject, and not our cup of tea. This must be left to the

Experts.

 

For us its better to have a Guru who can handle such matters (Like in my

case). I remember about 2oyears back too I suffered like this, and met a

Hindu who looks after a dargah in Delhi, who guided me to my problems. I

had suffered from some attacks from a old widow in our distant family,

and this Hindu Maulavi (WWhatever they call at Dargah), he told me that

" If You want to know this I will show the persons face in your own

hands). I was too scared that time to say " Yes " to him and did not wish

to be the part of any such rite. This same thing was confirmed by my

actual Mantra Guru 5 years later, who also told me the same thing, but

he forbade me to ever think of revenge. Yesterday too I got the clues

from my Guru itself. But was not afraid this time and prepared. (Like

Mouji Sahab said why must You worry- I actually stopped worrying since

few years)

 

The Kerala system is very much good to guide one through Prashna about

this. Usually the house where Mandi is situated, is involved. A weak

Saturn, and combination of Mandi with Saturn or Mars (Shakti Dieties

like Chamundi) or the Sun (Bhuta gana of Shiva) etc, give clues about

same.

 

The position of Gulika too gives inferences.

 

In Dev Prashnas, the Navamsha positions guide to the source of this with

use of amsas and sphutas.

 

Planets too offer inferences ( Sun- Snakes, Moon- Kinnaras, female

yakshas, Mars- evil spirits, gandharvas, Jupiter- Yakshas, Venus-

witches, female ghosts, Saturn- Goblins, etc.)

 

The Lagna and the 7th house must be afflicted.

 

There is another system in KP too, which I was taught by my Guru, but do

not wih to write about all this continously late in the night and then

have bad dreams. Let me do something else now.
