of making people wait gives you a sadistic pleasure.............

And i have realised that you are unrelenting and rigid to your stand of

Dear All,FinallyI thank you all once again for participating and special thanks to those who are sitting up to see the results.:-)The younger brother died on 19th July 2002 in the dasha of Ve-Ju-Ra. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest.

Renu ji came the closest with Jupiter Antar though she picked up Moon Pratyantar while it was Rahu who struck the blow. This is really commendable. See her message where she had taken Rahu as afflicting moon, but it was Rahu, not moon who killed finally! Congratulations Renu ji. That was wonderful.

Renu ji said://Venus is the 8L for 3HL Saturn, the younger brother. Venus is placed in 3H and there is an exchange between 3HL Sa & 11HL Ve. Jupiter is the maraka 2HL for 3H of younger bro and also placed 2nd to Saturn the 3HL. Moon is the 6HL of sickness to 3H. Moon is in gandantha too. Moon is afflicted by Rahu.

The double transit of Sa & Ju is on 3H from lagna during this period indicating some event to do with younger bro.//I would request Renu ji to elaborate her readings and give her detailed analysis.

Dear Neelam Ji & Renu Ji,

Thank you for a Great Quiz and a brilliant prediction by Renu Ji. Would Renu Ji kindly enlighten me on the "why". I had considered Ve-Ju very carefully and interestingly for the very reasons why Renu Ji thought it could happen (double transit of Ju/Sa) I thought it is unlikely. My reasoning was :

1.Saturn aspecting its own sign (in Transit), especially its MT sign, would protect it from the Marak Jupiter from inflicting the ultimate damage.

2. Jupiter, though a Marak is placed in his own sign in Pisces in the Drekkana chart.

I would like to learn why Saturn could not protect. Rahu's affliction is clear and obvious. Natal affliction is clear and obvious. Even after the announcement of result, this still is a mystery to me.

Great Job Renu Ji, looking forward to your reasoning.

Congratulations Renu Ji for reaching upto the right sub period!!

Its easy to comment about the planetory influences responsible for death once date / time of death is available. However making the reverse calculation is always too difficult.

Dear Manoj ji,I also wished to take up this point, Jup-Sat transit does show a focus on 3rd house, meaning thereby that house matters would gain focus, but that does not indicate death at all.Now check the transits on the fateful day. You'll get your answers. As long as saturn and Jup remained focussed on 3H they protected. The moment they turned their back, the event happened.

Dear Neelam Ji & Renu Ji,

Thank you for a Great Quiz and a brilliant prediction by Renu Ji. Would Renu Ji kindly enlighten me on the " why " . I had considered Ve-Ju very carefully and interestingly for the very reasons why Renu Ji thought it could happen (double transit of Ju/Sa) I thought it is unlikely. My reasoning was :

1.Saturn aspecting its own sign (in Transit), especially its MT sign, would protect it from the Marak Jupiter from inflicting the ultimate damage.

2. Jupiter, though a Marak is placed in his own sign in Pisces in the Drekkana chart.

I would like to learn why Saturn could not protect. Rahu's affliction is clear and obvious. Natal affliction is clear and obvious. Even after the announcement of result, this still is a mystery to me.

Great Job Renu Ji, looking forward to your reasoning.

Thanks Neelam Ji. That does make sense. Natal Sa is also conjunct 6L Mo, aspected very closely by Mars from the 6H, host of planets transiting the 6H, it all adds up. Post mortem is so much easier .

Dear Manoj ji,I also wished to take up this point, Jup-Sat transit does show a focus on 3rd house, meaning thereby that house matters would gain focus, but that does not indicate death at all.Now check the transits on the fateful day. You'll get your answers. As long as saturn and Jup remained focussed on 3H they protected. The moment they turned their back, the event happened. Dear Neelam ji,

Congratulations to Renuji. On Longevity related topics, personally I shall be

more comfortable if degrees of planets are taken care of else Navamsa etc. in

analysis.

This exercise resulted into some good off the quiz learning which ended with

discussion of some methods used, also resulting into Longevity.xls file.

I have one querry though. It is difficult to know but was their a miscarriage or

some sort of problem with pregnancy before younger brother was born. I mean :

Native was born first, then their was some problem woth pregnancy and then

younger brother was born who died.

Dear Neelam ji,

Thanks for your good words...and sorry for being late to reply. Preoccupied with

something else. Thus visiting the group not so frequently.

Anyway, Neelam ji I am afraid there is nothing much to elaborate on my answer

other than what I have already mentioned.

But let me clarify how I commenced my exercise which of course would not be much

of help astrologically.

The query was regarding the demise of a sibling. I lost my elder sister years

ago, and just checked the planets who gave me the gloomy news in my chart. It

was logical enough that the basics were covered. Hence looked from 'that' angle

in the present case too.

Venus being in the 3H in exchange with 3HL Sa could assume the role of 3HL,

younger brother. Venus in Rahu's star. A Rajasic planet in tamasic star....not

conducive to give all pleasant results. Venus is the 8HL from Sa the 3HL. Venus

the dispositor of Sa is also placed in 8th from Sa.

Jupiter is maraka 2HL from 3H of younger bro and also placed in 2nd from Sa, the

younger bro. I don't believe that Jupiter would always protect the native. [in

my sister's chart,Jupiter is placed in lagna, yet she passed away in Ju PD.

Being Leo lagna Ju would have played the role of 8HL]. Jupiter is in Saturn's

star too. Here again Jupiter, a satwik planet in tamsic star could give negative

results.

I have gone wrong in the next step, Pratyantar Dasa. Moon's GD degrees made me

decide on that.

In Drekkana chart, Jupiter the lagna lord representing the brother. Venus is the

6th lord of sickness placed in maraka 7th house from lagna. Moon as the 8HL was

my logic, but now I see that Rahu is also placed in the 7th from Drekkanna

Lagna.

I also checked the natives's bro's chart for dasas as per period I selected.It

was Ve/Ra/Ju....[now I notice...what a coincidence...for the native it was

Ve/Ju/Ra and for the deceased it was Ve/Ra/Ju!]

Venus in navamsa is heavily afflicted and placed in 2nd in rasi tulya navamsa.

Rahu in Mercury the 6th lords star, again placed in 2nd in rasi tulya navamsa.

Jupiter acquiring maraka role by being in the 2nd from lagna. Frankly, didn't

look much into the chart of the deceased due to lack of time.

Nothing much ...hope it would be of some help:)
