Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji, In file Longevity.xls, Moon is shown as natural benefic and it is not orange cell. Do we assume it as permanent benefic for this calculation irrespective of being in Krishna or Shukla paksha? regds Dev
Guest guest
Dear Dev ji, Yes. That is what Amsayu guidelines given in Rishi horas tells us. Any way, if you want to experiment by treating Moon as malefic following Brihat Jataka guideline that Ksheenachandara (weak Moon) is malefic, then - * Follow the Skanda hora guideline and treat ONLY the Moon of Krishna Chaturdasi (Moon of 14th Tithi of the black fortnight) and Moon of Amavasi (No-moon day) as Malefic and NOT the Moon of other days. That will make the effort more in tune with ancient Rishi horas. Treating the whole Krishnapksha Moon as malefic is neither supported by me nor by any astro classics. * Even though not in Orange cell, you can change and experiment with the values in editable area (I hope you are having the latest work sheet I have uploaded) and see how it affects the proposed maximum longevity date. Of course all changed values would be CONSIDERED in calculations. BUT remember that when you deviate/change values given in gray cells, you are actually deviating from the advice given in scriptures regarding Amshayu calculation. (But still you are free to try and the worksheet does support it) Hope this clarifies.Love and regards,Sreenadh , "axeplex" <axeplex wrote:>> Dear Sreenadh ji,> > In file Longevity.xls, Moon is shown as natural benefic and it is not orange cell.
