Short or tall person ? 12th lord afflicting lagna, Rahu afflicting 4th house

Dear friend,

Lagna is strongly influenced/ afflicted by 12th lord mercury and

10th/4th axis is strongly afflicted by Nodes.

In a good number of cases I had seen lagna axis strongly influenced by Rahu

gives good height,

whereas 4th house if afflicted reduces the height to lower side.

Only a good number of practical test horoscope under various Lagna

can say whether the inference is true in 100% cases.

In this chart Saturn, Jupiter and Venus are not able to influence the height as

they are between 12 to 18 degree away from the cusp.

Dear Saraslai_siva ji,//Rahu is the planet of excessiveness//Shanivat Rahu is what classics maintain. Rahu amplifies the significations of the planet/house/star it is associated with. It may be expansive/limiting in this sense.

Exactly which planet is excessive ?

Rahu or Jupiter ?

And where does it bring in excesses ? By stretching a person in height

or by making him stretch width wise ? How to determine this difference

?

Dear sirs,

I have Rahu in Lagna,but no part of any Limb is excessive.

I was asking for excessive in terms of length or breadth in Body wise, but we

are being given a commentary on Rahu in various houses.

But all the same let me comment on what else you have written.

I have read one book more than what anyone must have read, but that does not

make a Pundit. Grasping powers of the right pointers in astrology, and its

applications to daily human affairs is what is known as astrolgy and a

astrologer.

Rau in 10th does not mean power hungry but it mean attainments and

achievementsin ones Life . We are very liberal to use such words as " power

hungry " because no one is there to reproach us when we do so.But this is not the

right terminology to use just because Rahu is placed in 10th.

You have no right to use " Mafia " for a person who is respected like PVR.

In which book is it written that with Rahu as Lagna CSL one goes to sleep late

at night ?

Jupiter does not carry bad karmas for he is a Brahmin ? What rubbish. Many

people with jupiter exalted are given to drinking alcohol and enjoying parties

and eating lots of food and behaving like Autocrats. Who has met Jupiter and

seen that he does not carry Bad karmas ?

Rahu at one point one says gives power, and on another point you say that he

carries bad karmas to this janm. Then how can rahu ever give good results to

anybody in Life ? Is it possible ? yet we have seen that when Rahu is connected

to yogkarakas and as a Karmic Control planet makes a native of the best and well

known in his field of activity.

This is very funny, Rahu a Chandala, Jupiter a Brahmin, Jupiter carries only

good karmas to this birth, Rahu carries bad karmas.

Then if we take above statement as right,and if we believe in Law of Karma, then

every native with Jupiter Mahadasha or antardasha is supposed to reap results of

good Karmas and so every such native with either Jupiter as Mahadasha or

antardasha runnign should be enjoying the fruits of his punya karmas. And None

having cancer as a disease should blame Jupiter. Should they ?

What about Rahu? We must cruxify it and even cut his other body parts for good.

Because he carries only bad karmas to this Life from previous birth. So whenever

Rahu antardasha or mahadasha comes in any natives Life, he will suffer. is it

not ?

Please bring Jupiter and Rahu to me. I will take them to task.

Please define what is afflicted Rahu and what Rahu is unafflicted.

Those who know even a little bit of Nadi astrology and having experience

otherwise too in astrology, know that Rahu is the Giver- while Ketu is

the taker.

I somehow cannot co-relate to evil adjectives attributed towards planets

always. we have a habit to keep bashing anybody eternally because we do

not know whom else to bash so whoever comes our way and cannot defend or

respond to our attacks, is a easy target.

Rahu, Mars and Saturn are those planets who have been continously been

bashed eternally and unfortunately very few come to tell us back how

much good too these planets have done to their Lives.

Dear Siva,Since we are discussing Rahu's effect, when in 10th house. I would like contribute my bit, as a person with rahu in 10th house, I must say that my personality is quite contrary to what BV Raman ji said. I am certainly not a power hungry person, yes I do aspire to do well in life and career but am sure since BV Raman ji have mentioned "power hungry" he must have meant in some kinda hunger of power, which is beyond normal. In fact, on the contrary I am someone who prefer a more success and happiness in personal life than professional life. Dear Rajesh ji,

Good to see you writing.

Which is what I wanted to prove, whether Jupiter is responsible or Rahu.

Another point you mentioned is very true, with Rahu in 10th one is

ambitious but to say " power hungry " is not entirely right. It is better

said " hunger of power " , but who does not have that. The only difference

in case of person with Rahu in 10th is that the native will strive hard

to acquire that power through his efforts and labors put in the right

directions and not just be hungry but work towards it rather than

sitting tight or stationary. This man will not only dream but will try

to actually create props in real Life for his dreams to stand upon.

Which is what I wanted to prove, whether Jupiter is responsible or Rahu.

Another point you mentioned is very true, with Rahu in 10th one is

ambitious but to say "power hungry" is not entirely right. It is better

said "hunger of power", but who does not have that. The only difference

in case of person with Rahu in 10th is that the native will strive hard

to acquire that power through his efforts and labors put in the right

directions and not just be hungry but work towards it rather than

sitting tight or stationary. This man will not only dream but will try

to actually create props in real Life for his dreams to stand upon.

being close? But I have never till date used any unethical practises for

Dear sirs,I have Rahu in Lagna,but no part of any Limb is excessive.I was asking for excessive in terms of length or breadth in Body wise, but we are being given a commentary on Rahu in various houses.But all the same let me comment on what else you have written.I have read one book more than what anyone must have read, but that does not make a Pundit. Grasping powers of the right pointers in astrology, and its applications to daily human affairs is what is known as astrolgy and a astrologer.Rau in 10th does not mean power hungry but it mean attainments and achievementsin ones Life . We are very liberal to use such words as "power hungry" because no one is there to reproach us when we do so.But this is not the right terminology to use just because Rahu is placed in 10th.You have no right to use "Mafia" for a person who is respected like PVR.In which book is it written that with Rahu as Lagna CSL one goes to sleep late at night ?Jupiter does not carry bad karmas for he is a Brahmin ? What rubbish. Many people with jupiter exalted are given to drinking alcohol and enjoying parties and eating lots of food and behaving like Autocrats. Who has met Jupiter and seen that he does not carry Bad karmas ?Rahu at one point one says gives power, and on another point you say that he carries bad karmas to this janm. Then how can rahu ever give good results to anybody in Life ? Is it possible ? yet we have seen that when Rahu is connected to yogkarakas and as a Karmic Control planet makes a native of the best and well known in his field of activity.This is very funny, Rahu a Chandala, Jupiter a Brahmin, Jupiter carries only good karmas to this birth, Rahu carries bad karmas. Then if we take above statement as right,and if we believe in Law of Karma, then every native with Jupiter Mahadasha or antardasha is supposed to reap results of good Karmas and so every such native with either Jupiter as Mahadasha or antardasha runnign should be enjoying the fruits of his punya karmas. And None having cancer as a disease should blame Jupiter. Should they ?What about Rahu? We must cruxify it and even cut his other body parts for good. Because he carries only bad karmas to this Life from previous birth. So whenever Rahu antardasha or mahadasha comes in any natives Life, he will suffer. is it not ?Please bring Jupiter and Rahu to me. Dear Bhaskar Ji,

In the earlier mail, I mentioned about the placement of Rahu in tenth house and not in the ascendant.

In your case (as mentioned), Rahu is in Ascendant and quite away (9

degrees) from the ascendant degree. Rahu's influence can be seen on any

planet or planets (if any) posited in Leo, Sagittarius, Aquarius or

Aries around the degree of Rahu i.e 6 degree. Maximum orbit of

influence can be taken as five degrees. Impact is more if degrees are

very close, say less than one degree.

Dear Rajesh,

You are lucky . When I see a horoscope with Lagna JUPITER, my mind

feels very happiy. Except Makara rasi, Jupiter in any lagna is fine.

Jupiter in Kumbha is akin ( like ) exalation. Kumba is a philosophical sign.

Jupiter is Guru and Brhaspathi is so happy to teach philoshophy in this sign.

Dear members,

I am attaching a file called Rahu's advocate. this mail had come in the year 2005

from sree Balaji narasimhan, I am not sure from which group this had come. I had

saved it. It is quite interesting to note the link sudarshan chakra with rahu, finally how

the advocate for Rahu (in the court of God) places his arguements with charts and

how Rahu emulated Sani who is also God. It will be appropriate for the discussion

started by Sri Sarasalai SIva. This can also confirm that Rahu is not bad as

projected in the discussion by Sri Sarasalai Siva.

Dear shri bhaskar and other learned members,

I am giving u the chart details of a native who has rahu in 10th. He went upto the

level of Vice president in a big pharma company and in the year 2006 he was

asked to leave without assigning any reasons. till date he is without a job

and trying for a job without success.

His rahu dasa was over during his education period and it had given him

a good education. He rose to peak during Jupiter dasa and during saturn

mahadasa venus antara and rahu pratyantar (june 2006) he lost his job.

rahu's dispositor sun is debilitated. So rahu can go to the peak and also

drop down with the same speed.

DOB; 20th oct 1960

Dear Gopu ji.

I have not able to see any attachment here. But Saturn and Sudarshan

Chakra are related is a true fact. In the temple of Sreenathji, I had

mentioned in some previous posts in the past, atop the Dhwaja there is a

Sudarshan Chakra which does the work of Shani as the Temple Guide told

me. He said that Sudarshan chakra here takes note of all the crimes and

people who initiate these, and punishes the people indulging in same

accordingly. He said that lord Krishna (Sreenathji) has given Shani

maharaj this reponsibility as symbolically seen in the Sudarshan Chakra.

This confirms what you have written.

I fully agree with you " rahu can go to the peak and also drop down with the same

Further, You may also refer to my earlier mail (thread of message # 28504) about

rahu in 10th house and apply the same in this chart also.

degree of Ascendant, then native may use unethical practices for professional

upliftment. Such person is a liar. "

In this case, Degrees of Ascendant and Rahu are quite close. Dispositor for such

rahu in 12th confirms about the unethical practices at work place.

Reason for not getting job since long is the weak sun ruling house of profession

and also a signficator for employment. Jupiter in this case is strong - ruling &

placed in the house of status + aspecting the house of profession.

Dear sri deepak sharma,

U state that rahu in the 10th house will be closer to the ascendant. It is bit confusing

because Rahu in 12th, lagna, 2nd house are much closer to lagna than rahu in

10th house. Moreover Rahu can act like its dispositor. So for scorpio lagna,

rahu in the 10th can give the qualities of sun. Lord surya is highly discplined

so where is the question of rahu in leo for a scorpio lagna to make him

resort to unethical practices in the profession. So what u state may not apply

verbatim.

In your case (as mentioned), Rahu is in Ascendant and quite away (9 degrees) from the ascendant degree. Rahu at one point one says gives power, and on another point you say that he carries bad karmas to this janm. Then how can rahu ever give good results to anybody in Life ? Is it possible ? yet we have seen that when Rahu is connected to yogkarakas and as a Karmic Control planet makes a native of the best and well known in his field of activity.

This is very funny, Rahu a Chandala, Jupiter a Brahmin, Jupiter carries only good karmas to this birth, Rahu carries bad karmas.

Then if we take above statement as right,and if we believe in Law of Karma, then every native with Jupiter Mahadasha or antardasha is supposed to reap results of good Karmas and so every such native with either Jupiter as Mahadasha or antardasha runnign should be enjoying the fruits of his punya karmas. And None having cancer as a disease should blame Jupiter. Should they ?

What about Rahu? We must cruxify it and even cut his other body parts for good. Because he carries only bad karmas to this Life from previous birth. So whenever Rahu antardasha or mahadasha comes in any natives Life, he will suffer. is it not ?

Please bring Jupiter and Rahu to me. I will take them to task.

level of Vice president in a big pharma company and in the year 2006 he was

When Rahu is in 10th house, Ketu is in 4th house. So the question of being too greedy is checked by Ketu.

Yes Rahu is expansive - thus it is said he wants more.

Rahu has a tendency so does Ketu. But all others also have tendency.

All when looking at the same direction will create these typical results of --- Rahu in 10th house being Mafia Don.

After all when God gives ability, he rarely gives intent to the same person. It is in rare cases that Dons are born.

I speak from experience. I have Rahu in 10th and Ketu in 4th.

Forget about robbing somebody, i do not even deal with people who i suspect of robbing.
