Effect of antardasha results - The timing part.

Dear Learned friends,

 

Suppose we know that in a certain antardasha of Venus a person is going

to get married or go to foreign. Now in which part of the antardasha

will the event happen ? The beginning, the middle or the last ?

 

Can you please give your views on this for the 9 Planets when will they

bring about results, whatever they indicate, as soon as they gain power

as the antardasha Lords ?

 

We do have these inputs given to us in the Shastras. Does anyone

remember these? I do not.

Please try 'Dinesh Mathur's book on Vimshottari Mahadasa.

Probably the name of the book is

 

'Insight into Vedic Astrology...Timing Events'.

 

M/s Motilal Banarasi Das Publishers

 

or M/s Sagar Publications, New Delhi, I can not recall correctly right now.

Dear Mritunjay ji,

 

It is already there in The BPHS and Brihat Jataka. I dont have those

books with me presently. Motilal Banarsidas I have developed aversion

for some time now due to their not printing rates on Books, matter less,

and prices more. The name you mentioned is similiar to one book written

by Shri KN Rao.

Dear Bhaskar Ji,

 

Below are my view related to timing of event in antra.

 

Once we have decided and sure that Venus antra will brings marriage

below process will helps to narrow down antra.

--venus antra will be of 20 months and this is divided into 3 parts

where each parts are of equal span

--this will results in 3 sectors of Venus antra now selection of

correct sector will helps to narrow down event.

 

For selection of correct sector

--need to make sure that is it result of Ve or Ve is giving results for

someone else's......e.g. Ve gives results for St.

--status of Saturn and Jupiter and there sight for house under

consideration and its upachaya house to find out delay (full or

moderate)

--Status of Ve and relation with house under consideration

Thanks for explaining timing of events and an example for timing marriage.

 

There was something else I had requested for. In the texts it is given somewhere

- when normally one can get the results of each planet. For instance it may be

written that saturn will show its effects in the end part of its antardasha,

when its closing. Moon will show in the beginning of its period, etc. So for

each planet there is a period written.

 

I was looking for inputs on these.

Dear Bhaskar ji,

 

Assuming that the planet is powerful and capable in giving the timing of event,

The General rule thumb rule you can take is as follows :-

 

Take any antar dasha and divide into 3 equal parts or sector.

 

1) If there is delay indicated for the event, then the event will get delayed in

the antar dasha as well i.e 3rd sector.

 

2) If the delay is moderated then the event will take place in the 2nd sector

 

3) If there is no delay then the event will take place in the 1st sector itself.

 

There is also one other rule which works off the above 3 which is as follows:

 

4) If the planet giving result is samdharmi to a delay causing planet and the

delay causing planet is very eager but for whatever reason its unable to give

(for example, if its antra is gone in delay period or if its antra is yet to

come after some year) and before that this planet gets a chance, then it will

try to give the event in the 1st sector itself.
