Dear All, I have updated the "Easy Calc.xls" excel sheet with the calculations for "Jeevasarmeeya Ayu" method for longevity calculation as well. Some interesting points are as follows - * If all 9 planets are considered the max longevity for Jeevasarmeeya Ayu is 120 years. (which we may consider as logical) * BUT Acharya Jeevasarma DO NOT ask us to consider Rahu and Ketu, and therefore the max. longevity as per this method is 93.33 years only! * Actually since Jeevasarma knew that Pindayu calculations are NOT giving correct results, this is his correction effort to that system by assigning equal longevity to all planets (13.33 years) and reducing the max longevity to 93.33 to be more in tune with the current usual longevty experienced by people. * Please note that Lagna, Rahu and Ketu are NOT considered in this system for longevity calculations. (But I have given the facility to consider these as well, if required, in the excel sheet on an experimental bais) I completely agree with the opinion of Acharya Jeevasarma regarding his correction effort and could see that if I apply the same on some known chart such as that of Rajiv Gandhi (for whom the the actual longevity was 46 years and 6 months), I get the result as - 46 years 8 months! An excellent match! I request you to experiment with this Longevity calculation method as well. Thus now we know that Amsayu and Jeevasarmeeya Ayu longevity calculation methods are more in tune with reality whereas Pindayu is not - yes, the conclusion is worth the effort! Dear All,

On retrospect I don't find this method of " Jeevasarmeeya Ayu " satisfactory in

many charts. I request others to present their views after experimenting with

some known charts.

Love and regards,

Sreenadh
