Guest guest
Dear friends, I would like to ask the Learned members over here- Who has not had Death like experiences ? 1)Either in the hospital with own suffering or with someone near and dear one suffering ? 2)Or else in situations which were really dissapointing and causes one to think about Death ? I am sure everyone of us has faced either of the above two . No one can say that he has not witnessed death like experiences if he has seen at least 40-50 winters in his Life. Is there anybody here who has had a complete smooth Life without experiencing death like experiences ? regards/Bhaskar.

Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji,Suffering and enjoyment or happiness and grief are relative terms and we may not be able to define and compare the two situations for how they impact on two different individuals. I have seen some people braving a deadly disease like Cancer with a smile while some others die ten times with an ordinary viral fever. Anyhow, I made the point in a different context. The discussion was about a very specific manifestation of Saturn, the KAAL as well as the karaka of aayu in 2H of kutumb and death. How it may affect the native positively or negatively was the point under discussion. How many would've suffered the death of father at a young age of 12-13 which snatched one's childhood? Or sudden demise of both the parents leaving the child at the mercy of cruel relatives, life never being the same again?Or a young girl nursing her dying mother for years forsaking her desire to get married and have her family? Or the death of a rich uncle who leaves his fortune to make it a rags to riches story? There may be many such life-turning experiences which come from 2H experience of family and death. Thanks and Regards Neelam This placement often creates a special relationship with death. Even a person might earn through professions related to death, like insurance companies, old age homes etc. How one may come face-to-face with death to have his course of life 2009/11/26 Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Dear friends, I would like to ask the Learned members over here- Who has not had Death like experiences ? 1)Either in the hospital with own suffering or with someone near and dear one suffering ? 2)Or else in situations which were really dissapointing and causes one to think about Death ? Guest guest
Dear Gopalakrishna ji, Namaste.. My apologies for interjecting, but could you kindly give more information as to why(in your opinon) shani in 2H is giving these experiences?? My thoughts are,, are these because of shani's placement in the 2H or is it more to do with shani's aspect onto the 8H, which is the natural house of lifespan and hidden(unconventional) knowledge? Also are these different to the " ESP like " knowledge given by rahu's placement? Looking forward to hearing your views. warmest regards Sheevani , " gopalakrishna " <gopi_b927 wrote: > > yes you are right but what i am talking and Neelam ji mentioning are not > what you THINK..They are not like, they are real and physical and not > imaginations of the mind but beyond the MIND.Only those who have had > practically experienced KNOW that and others are not. Please dont jump > and say that they are claiming etc because they dont claim anything.I > believe it is so personal they dont even want to share. As far as i am > concerned i am not.I know why you raise this and i am not ready to go > f(a)urther than this..... > gopi. > , " Bhaskar " > <bhaskar_jyotish@> wrote: > > > > > > Dear friends, > > > > I would like to ask the Learned members over here- > > > > Who has not had Death like experiences ? > > > > 1)Either in the hospital with own suffering or with someone near and > > dear one suffering ? > > > > 2)Or else in situations which were really dissapointing and causes one > > to think about Death ? > > > > I am sure everyone of us has faced either of the above two . Guest guest
Dear Shri Gopi ji, I have spent 3 months in Jaslok Hospital near my father who was in ICU with no assurances of his going to be alive the next day. I used to sleep on the topmost floor of the jaslok hospital,Bombay reserved for relatives of the patients of ICU which has a cage completely covering the hall, so that no one jumps and commits suicide, and not a single night for 3 months I slept properly, because every 10 minutes the phone rang and they used to call out the bed number of the patient and his relative had to run down not knowing why he is being called, to get some medicines, to sign some important paper, or to receive the news of death of his near and dear one. I have spent two months with my mother in Hinduja Hospital, and seen her suffering. I have seen my nephew (Own sisters son) suffering from cancer at young age of 13 and his taking chemotherapies, his visits to the hospital, his stay in the hospital, his return back from the hospital with the after effects, for full 7 years of his Life. The above if not death like experience, then what is. This is about my close family members, and relatives. I have not yet spoken about myself now. This is quite normal, and not out of the blue. Nobody is the only person who has seen tragedy in this Life. everyone has. regards/Bhaskar. , " gopalakrishna " <gopi_b927 wrote: > > yes you are right but what i am talking and Neelam ji mentioning are not > what you THINK..They are not like, they are real and physical and not > imaginations of the mind but beyond the MIND.Only those who have had > practically experienced KNOW that and others are not. Please dont jump > and say that they are claiming etc because they dont claim anything.I > believe it is so personal they dont even want to share. As far as i am > concerned i am not.I know why you raise this and i am not ready to go > f(a)urther than this..... > gopi. > , " Bhaskar " > bhaskar_jyotish@ wrote: > > > > > > Dear friends, > > > > I would like to ask the Learned members over here- > > > > Who has not had Death like experiences ? > > > > 1)Either in the hospital with own suffering or with someone near and > > dear one suffering ? > > > > 2)Or else in situations which were really dissapointing and causes one > > to think about Death ? > > > > I am sure everyone of us has faced either of the above two . Guest guest
Dear Smt Neelamji, Namaste. Your view regarding the above subject is very logical. But the same deathlike experience is the launching pad for the greatest transformation within the human soul which enables one to kill the mind. Kindly extend your observations on the pointers leading to such transformation also. It shall be really worth analyzing and worth learning. With warm regards,S.R.Balasubramaniam--- On Thu, 26/11/09, neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote:neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 Re: Death Like ExperiencesTo: Date: Thursday, 26 November, 2009, 11:18 PM Dear Bhaskar ji,Suffering and enjoyment or happiness and grief are relative terms and we may not be able to define and compare the two situations for how they impact on two different individuals. Guest guest
Dear Sheevani ji, I had these experiences which could qualify for death like, though not sure. 1) Once when suffering from typhoid as a teenagerI left my body and felt myself on the roof of the room, and could see my body down and everyone and things etc.below me. This was so strange that I did not know whom to tell or share with, at that point of time, since never knew that this could happen when one is having high fever or illness. 2) Once early morning I felt uneasy in breathing and was tucked up under the bedsheet in a cold Calcutta winter morning. My eyes were closed . It was around 4.00pm and suddenly felt myself zooming inside a tunnel at a good speed and realised that this could be my last moment. By then the phone rang and the news of my paternal grandfather passing away arrived. 3) Once while meditating, again eyes closed and focused between forehead while travelling, I could see myself speeding between the clouds all white and like milk coloured and other beatiful images in the path(This happened 10 years ago and dont remember vividly). This lasted for 5 minutes after which I opened my eyes on purpose with some fear and (Also stupefied) not sure where I will reach ,so better stop. I dont know what is the above. I have a 2nd Lord Mercury in Gemini, combusted and retrograde both in the 11th house in one degree orb conjunction with the Lagna Lord Sun. A debilitated but retrograde Jupiter is aspecting the 2nd house. regards/Bhaskar. , "Sheevani" <sheevani147 wrote:>> Dear Neelam ji,> > Namaste..> > //The discussion was about a very specific manifestation of Saturn, the KAAL as well as the karaka of aayu in 2H of kutumb and death. > How it may affect the native positively or negatively was the point under discussion.///> > could you be so kind as to expand on this, in your experience, which rashis suffer more according to sign-lordships and is there any variation according to the tattwa of the rashis,, eg jaltattwa rashis may feel it more intensely ,at least emotionally.. > > I appreciate affliction/non- afflicted moon will also modify the experience, but for now lets not factor in the moon.> > Many thanks> > > warmest regards> Sheevani> > > , neelam gupta neelamgupta07@ wrote:> >> > Dear Bhaskar ji,> > > > Suffering and enjoyment or happiness and grief are relative terms and we may> > not be able to define and compare the two situations for how they impact on> > two different individuals. Guest guest
Dear Sheevani ji,namasthe...no problem.Frankly speaking i never knew these experiences are due to shani maharaj in 2ndH till Neelam ji's post yesterday. It was her observation/intuition or what ever.//My thoughts are,, are these because of shani's placement in the 2H or is it more to do with shani's aspect onto the 8H, which is the natural house of lifespan and hidden(unconventional) knowledge?//yes,i believe so.I also think there is more to it than meets the eye since shani aswell as 8th house are both complicated for astrologers. For example as you wrote to Neelam ji the rasi in 8thH is agni jala etc and also the dispositor of sani, all these things matter. To consider them spiritual we even have to check vimsamsa along with AK./ Also are these different to the "ESP like" knowledge given by rahu's placement?//can you pl elaborate on ''ESP like"since i could not get it right i suppose.Warm regards, gopi. , "Sheevani" <sheevani147 wrote:>> Dear Gopalakrishna ji,> > Namaste..> > My apologies for interjecting, but could you kindly give more information as to why(in your opinon) shani in 2H is giving these experiences?? > > My thoughts are,, are these because of shani's placement in the 2H or is it more to do with shani's aspect onto the 8H, which is the natural house of lifespan and hidden(unconventional) knowledge?> > Also are these different to the "ESP like" knowledge given by rahu's placement?> > Looking forward to hearing your views.> > warmest regards> Sheevani > > , "gopalakrishna" gopi_b927@ wrote:> >> > yes you are right but what i am talking and Neelam ji mentioning are not> > what you THINK..They are not like, they are real and physical and not> > imaginations of the mind but beyond the MIND.Only those who have had> > practically experienced KNOW that and others are not. Please dont jump> > and say that they are claiming etc because they dont claim anything.I> > believe it is so personal they dont even want to share. As far as i am> > concerned i am not.I know why you raise this and i am not ready to go> > f(a)urther than this.....> > gopi.> > , "Bhaskar"> > <bhaskar_jyotish@> wrote:> > >> > >> > > Dear friends,> > >> > > I would like to ask the Learned members over here-> > >> > > Who has not had Death like experiences ?> > >> > > 1)Either in the hospital with own suffering or with someone near and> > > dear one suffering ?> > >> > > 2)Or else in situations which were really dissapointing and causes one> > > to think about Death ?> > >> > > I am sure everyone of us has faced either of the above two . Guest guest
Death like experiences of the mind and soul, can come only through the play of the 4th house, the 12th house and the 3rd house, and the planets Moon and Saturn. None of these planets can singularly contribute to " death like experiences " . The 4th house must have a seperatist influence on it. The Moon is the mind and saturn is the planet of causing detachment or seperatative through sufferings and punishment. When the 4th house of domestics is afllicted and disrturbed and comes under the sway of sufferings, the 3rd house gets its power to wield and throws the native off track and makes him think, contemplate of the validity of Life, Love and family. The 3rd house is also the sub conscious mind, and also the 12th to the 4th. All these factors have to come together to create " Death like experiences " after which the native develops " Vairagya " and moves forward in his quest of search for enlightenment. regards/Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji,The first experience you have related is the typical NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE as science calls it. I have gone through it when I went down with cerebral malaria. IT happens when your heart stops beating but you are not brain dead yet. Try to read the book LIFE AFTER DEATH by Dr Raymond Moody who has done pioneer research in this area if you are really interested in the matter.Second is intuition , where you logged in to what was happening to your grand father who was close to you perhaps or perhaps your grand father was too attached to you. This happens when there is a deep bond between two people. Such intuitive messages are received when other is in sad, or depressed, or not well. My daughter and I and also my brother and I share such deep bond.Third is you had a glimpse of a higher world when meditating. Good for you. Guest guest
Dear Anita ji, Of course now I am better informed. Read(past tense) almost all books on after death experiences, and even read(past tense) books from those who have left the world (Spirits). Now I have stopped reading books of " after death " , though its an interesting subject, because ultimately all mention same things, and we have to anyway go there, so lets live Life to the fullest instead of musing on the other world of death. These books talk of seperations of love ones, and emotional attachments, ofsouls lingering still, and what not, and the mood becomes depressed, so now keep away from all this. We have enough suffering in this world too. Guest guest
Dear Girish Ji, A quote from your book: //One should understand that the Creator who Created you will not help you in fulfillment of your desires// That is the Crux of the matter, isn't it? Yogananda Ji'always use to quote from the Bhagavat Gita, Lord Krishna's advice to Arjna: "Get away Arjuna from this Ocean of Misery". When THAT is the True purpose of Life, why would HE/SHE help us lessen the Misery? Food for Thought. Guest guest
Dear Girish ji, I read the link you have given. tThanks, Your presentation is good but am sorry that cannot susbcribe to the views. I will write in short. You mention - //atman is different from the soul // Please differentiate between both of them then, if so. //atman is an invisible chord or umbilcal chord connected with the creator. at time of death atma gets disconnected and gets connected to a baby in the womb giving Life. this is the concept of re-birth// No this is not. You mean as soon as one dies he gets connected to another baby ? then where does the hell and heaven go ? Does he not need to go there ? The umblical chord which you mention is the silver chord but it is connected to living human beings and not the dead. We all have a silver umblical chord connected tio the creator which is invisible, which is why no human being can remain hungry in this world for more than 3 days as God comes to know and sends somebody with food to him. this silver umblical chord is disconnected from the human body as soon as he dies and his body is burnt. //After death the memory of the person remains in the bio-magnetic field// This is nothing but the vasnamaya sharir or one of the koshas from the Sapta kosha. // as per my understanding there is no rebirth of the soul // This is without scientific proof, for reality suggests differently. We have a thousand cases all recorded with statistics who are re-births. //If you talk to God,you are praying, if God talks to you , you have schizophrenia// No boss. this is not right always. there are 50 more issues on which I would like to comment in Your article but lack of time and interest does not permit me to do so. But if you push me, i will take out time in few days and give you the right perspective on same. I am qualified to do the same, for have learnt all what you have written about scientifically and under instructions. best wishes/bhaskar. , Girish menon <horamag wrote: > > Respected members > I have done few years research on this subject for which i have written a book Life after death. > I have published few chapters in scribd > > > > > http://www.scribd.com/doc/19757871/Life-After-DeathThanks and regardsGirish > > > > > --- On Sat, 11/28/09, Anita R ash.rsh55 wrote: > > Anita R ash.rsh55 > Re: Re: Death Like Experiences > > Saturday, November 28, 2009, 12:48 AM >  > > > Hi, > Same is the case with me. Guest guest
Dear Santosh ji, If You believe in Lord Krishna, and the Gita, then you must be believing in Vishnu too. Please read the Garuda Purana. Heaven or Hell is for the time, till you get the required planetary configurations to be born again as per your karmas. They were rescued. If they were not to be rescued, then help would have come to them. And how do you not know that God did not send them the rescue team ? Boss this discussion can go on endlessly. Logic, optimism and faith in God has to be fostered when one has to size such hapennings and situations. I can now not write in detail for my professional work is getting hampered due to last 3-4 days of time giving here. regards/Bhaskar. , "Santhosh" <santhosh wrote:>> > > Dear Bhaskar ji,> > > > //No this is not.
