The variation of Guru Chandalas has gone a transformation now.

In previous days of yore, a Guru Chandala could have been a shishya who

could have had illicit relations with his Gurus wife or family members,

or else a person who killed his Guru or else a person who opposed his

guru etc.

But now it can also mean the following-

1) Learning from a Guru and then spreading that learning in ones own

name.

2) Learning from a Guru, but changing the learning and making it ones

own parampara.

3) Learning from a Guru and twisting the learnings and making it

utterly commercial with total new names given to the new formulaes to

make it look like coming from some ancient heritage or parampara or

Padhati.

4) Learning from texts but never acknowledging the sources.

5) Learning from the texts but never remaining respectful towards the

sources of learning, and trying to create a impact and projection as if

discovered newly through much hard work, study and pains.

6) Learning from Gurus, Texts- proclaiming oneself as a Guru, and giving

the students Titles of Gurus without going into their academic, spiritual

qualifications but simply on basis of hefty fees received - and made a

Guru.

7) These newly Titles received false Gurus going in the world and

spreading falsehood in name of Learning (Astrology or whatever), and

suggesting strange unheard of remedies whih could be too dangerous, to

make look spectacular and impressive.

8) Taking money in name of falsehood, parampara, cheating people into

paying huge amounts of money for Yantras, tantras, objects, poojas,

homams and what not, and putting fear in them if request not acceeded or

heeded to.

Those who do not acknowledge their Gurus from whom they have learnt, and

from which learning respect, name and fame and money is arrived, such

people are from the second category of Guru Chandalas, whereas the first

category people comes above.

regards/Bhaskar.

Bhaskar.
