You may also read the explantion provided by Shreenadh. Factors should only be used where it is intended to be used and in right situations. Now I understand the importance of kalachakra dasha for predictions. But KC dasha i have heard that changes within minutes. So if the timing of the native in not accurate there are every chances of getting it wrong. Sir you have not commented regarding Kendradhipathi dosha. Gulika is in simha and not in Karkataka. Now consider the Jupiter. It is exalted & Vargottama. so it is natural to assume the dasa shall be good. 1) He suffered during the Jupiter-Jupiter period. I have in previous instance stated that own anthara of a planets will not generaly good. This is classical view. 2) Jupiter is placed in the dhana sthana - its karaka bhava. so the tendancy to destroy / suffering due to dhana (jupiter's karakatwa) was fully confered during its anthara. 3) Consider Jupiter as lagna, as well as dhana sthana . Two principles are working here (a) Maha dasa lord, (b) Bhavaath bhaavam. Then you will see Gulika in its second (dhana bhava), Mars(retro) + Ketu in the 4th, Venus+Rahu in the 10th, Sun +Saturn in the 9th. So the dhana bhava as well as kendra/trikonas are affected. Hence the period naturally brought proverty instead of being good. Naturally the you next question will be, then why did he started to recover afterwards? (a)Jupiter by itself is exalted & vargottama. (b) Its dispositor(Moon) is aspecting the sign and is not totaly devoid of paksha bala (being in the 11nth of Sun - Krishna Navami), © Nisargika dasa is that of Jupiter - So there is natural & inborn Nisarga)  strength is prevelant in jupiter and is felt also to enable to recover from the losses. This is further clarified by looking at Kalachakra dasa also. DHANUS-MESHA- --16-Oct- 03 DHANUS-MEENA- --29-Dec- 04 DHANUS-KUMBHA- -23-Jun-05 DHANUS-MAKARA- -16-Dec-05 MESHA--MESHA- --19-Jul- 06 MESHA--VRISHA- -25-Nov-07 MESHA--MITHUNA- 28-Aug-08 Planets in the above signs Mesha - Venus + Rahu + Navamsa of Mercury+Gulika Meena-Sun + Saturn + Aspect of Jupiter Kumbha - Mercury+Navamsa of Moon+Ketu + Aspect of Rahu(?) Makara-Moon + aspect of Jupiter + Mars Vrishabha- Aspect of Mars(retro) Mithuna - No planets, Rahu aspects from 5th(?).  So you can see the dasa period of signs where malefic planets are placed/aspects he has suffured most and started recovering as the malefic influence began to be reduced when the nisarga strength started to take control. Hope you understand.  A.G.Suresh Babu Shenoy ____________ _________ _________ __ Girish <horamag > kerala_vedic_ astrology Mon, November 30, 2009 11:05:36 AM [kerala_vedic_ astrology] Kendradhipathi dosha  Respected sureshji A doubt regarding kendradhipathi dosha. As i understand for gemini and virgo natives Jupiter if posted in 1 4 7 or 10 will have KP dosha. Sir to what extend will this dosha affect the native.I have a chart of my friend who is undergoing Jupiter dasha and he has Ju in ucham in rasi as well as navamsa. So his dasha should be excellent for him.But it is only average .is it because of KP dosha POB:April 3 1967 TOB:12:30 pm POB:Kottayam His guru dasha started from approx 2004 Yr 2004 till 2005 was extremely bad for him(He said he struggled for 5 rs also) with regards to finance and relationship. He had a accident on oct 2 2007 he had to put steel rod on his legs. From 2008 onwards he says there is improvement. But as a beginner if i look at the chart i would have predicted good time which is not so. Is it because of KP dosha or mandi is in conjunction with jupiter or Ju degree is 1:17 or the dipositor moon is in 8th. I am keen to know with regards to KP dosha.
