Guest guest
Dear friends, I have heard that Saturn transit must be taken from the Natal Moon position. Now there are 12 houses in the Horoscope. Among which of these houses is the transit of Saturn considered as a " good transit " and among which ones, is it considered as a " bad transit " ? regards, Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Dev ji, I was looking for these inputs only. This is what is mentioned as per Traditional Astrology. I ask the Group members how is it possible that Saturn will prove bad always in the other houses. This means that for the major part of his Life, a person will always be under the bad effects of Saturn ? I do not belive this is possible in real Life. Any comments ? regards/Bhaskar. , " axeplex " <axeplex wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > > As a general rule, 3, 6 & 11 are considered good for Sa transit. > > regds > Dev > > , " Bhaskar " bhaskar_jyotish@ wrote: > > > > Dear friends, > > > > I have heard that Saturn transit must be taken from the Natal Moon position. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji, It is not so. Sa is not bad for everyone. Even Sadesati can not be bad for every one. Within Sadesatti, all dhaiyyas shall behave differently. Natal positions of planets and transits of other planets need to be coupled to arrive at results. In fact, I believe if one can master transits, many of the predictions can get new direction. regds Dev , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > > Dear Dev ji, > > I was looking for these inputs only. Guest guest
Dear Dev ji, What you have written is what is near to my heart. If we can master " Transits " we get the clue to the results. Which is why I had initiated 1-2 threads on Transits in past but had no takers, apparently for this is an area where expertise is available too rarely. Saturn cannot be bad . It cannot be good. And will be the other planets. they just reveal the nature in which results will come forth. Saturn will allow the result to come in a lingering form. Jupiter will magnify it. Good or bad both in all planets cases. Mars will bring it suddenly. Rahu will get it ferociously. Only the traits and characteristics of the results would be modified by these planets, but rest factor of giving good or bad results will remain equally distributed between all planets depending on what the planet represents for each individual in his chart. In case of Saturn the clues come also from the navamsa transit as given in the Nadis and also from aspects caused by transits, and the kashyas it remains in and changes on its continous motion through the zodiac. regards, Bhaskar. , " axeplex " <axeplex wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > > It is not so. Guest guest
Dear BhaskarjiI believe Sanaischara(Sa) denotes the border, confined state and the limited nature of the things that the human beings are familiar with. When we want to earn respect,Sa stands as the limit of the respect-it can be highest or the lowest-denoting the limit. Certainly saturn follows the rhtym of the universe, that may be one reason we refer him as the embodiment of Dharma, still a limited notion when we think and try to convey what we think. I believe when our thoughts are limited/confined by us regarding ourselves(house 1),wealth,etc (H2) upto the 12th house, we can say that we are in the grips of Saturn-thereby limiting ourselves. Yes... this is neither good nor bad. Just the limitation of our own thought-again the influence of Saturn principle. Interestingly the non/un limiting nature seems to be the opposite/enmical to the saturn in many respects. That may be the reason saturn treats Sun(creation of positive energy breaking the limitations),Mars(action vibrations of energy again breaking spontaneously the limitaion) as incompatible in many cases. But the limiting tendencies along the lines of enemies(6 house),gains(11 house),etc of our thought process may bring the natural rhythm to us thereby a feeling of enriched happiness. When we limit our limitations through our own approach to life events, we are following the saturn principle thereby getting 'good deeds'. Wheras we confine ourselves and follow exclusively that represented by all the 12 houses significnt factors, we loose the natural rhythm thereby getting 'bad deeds' Dharmo rakshati rakshitah(Dharma saves who is following/saving it)-good saturnOne who is not following/saving Dharma will never be saved/followed-Bad saturn.Interestingly Good and bad saturn is simply a psychological illusion as we have only saturn principle which is not different from the vihitadharmapalanam(following the attained/prescribed/instructed Dharma). This is an observation of a beginner in astrological consciousness and please guide me the right light if i am wrong.RegardsK.SubramanianOn Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 5:05 PM, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: Dear Dev ji, What you have written is what is near to my heart. Guest guest
Dear Devji,I too have a doubt about this. I have heard and observed that saturn situated in these houses and also transiting these houses does a person tremendous good. When saturn is in third house, he would be aspecting the 5th house, 9th house, and 12th house. similarly from 6th, he would be aspecting 8th, 12th and 3rd, and from 11th house, he would be aspecting the lagna, 4th, 8th . How can saturns aspect on th 5th, 9th, 3rd, lagna, 4th house be good? I read some where that retro saturn in 3rd, 6th, 11th is especially good. Can you throw some light on teh reasons for this?Regards, Anita--- On Thu, 10/12/09, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote:Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotishSubject: Re: Saturn transit in 12 Houses Date: Thursday, 10 December, 2009, 7:41 AM Dear Dev ji, I was looking for these inputs only. Guest guest
Dear Anitaji, The rule for transit Saturn is as follows:- From the natal position of the moon when Saturn transits- i) 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 11th he is favorable ii) 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 9th he is unfavorable iii) 4th, 8th, and 12th he is evil And the vedha pairs for it are 3and 12, 6 and 9, 11 and 5. It means that for example when Saturn is transiting the 3rd house from the natal moon, if any planet other than sun is transiting the vedha position of 12 from the natal moon, Saturn’s influence will be kept under check i.e., his propensity to do good or bad will be checked. Alternatively, when Saturn is transiting the 12th house from the natal moon, if any planet other than sun is transiting the vedha position of 3 from the natal moon, Saturn’s influence will be kept under check. Same rule applies for the other vedha pairs. Only sun is not taken into account because they are father and son. Guest guest
Dear AnitaJi, A mistake made by me below was pointed out to me by Col. Chandran Ji Regards Santhosh Dear Col. Chandran Ji, Thanks for introducing yourself. It is really great to know that you come from such a well known family. You are absolutely right on Saturn’s 10th transit. 4th, 7th, 10, from Natal moon are kandakasani and very inauspicious. It was a mistake on my part and thanks for pointing out. Loss of honor, Financial Loss, fall through own actions, Prestige Job and status threatened, scandals, expenditures and change of profession are stated for Saturn’s 10th transit. Further there are no Vedha too for kandaka sani. My interest in astrology came from reading the subject from my grand father's collection of books. I am in Trivandrum. I am a senior citizen, 65. Saturn's transit in 10th from Moon is kandaka sani as per books. I read some where that retro saturn in 3rd, 6th, 11th is especially good. > > > Can you throw some light on teh reasons for this? > > > Regards, > > > Anita > > > > > > --- On Thu, 10/12/09, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish@ ...> wrote: > > > > > > Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish@ ...> > > > [ancient_indian_ astrology] Re: Saturn transit in 12 Houses > > > ancient_indian_ astrology > > > Thursday, 10 December, 2009, 7:41 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear Dev ji, > > > > > > > > > > > > I was looking for these inputs only.
