Guest guest
Namaste Vidya ji, The comment made by you on Rahu & Jupiter are general comments. Kindly mention the planetary position of Rahu and Jupiter in horrorscope alongwith the nakshatra details. Then only one can appreciate or contest your observations. Till then it would be stray discussions without any value or direction With regards, Sreeram_Srinivas >
Guest guest
Vidyaji,Opposites are two sides of the same coin. If your really think deeply enough, you will realise over a period of time, it might take long time at that, that whenever bad things happen to us, some good things do come out of it. Of course, this statement of mine needs some hard, deep thinking and a bit of philosophising. Life is never all smooth sailing. SOme good, some bad. I completed my education, got my job, promotion, got married, got a wonderful child, my husband got 3 promotions, I got all the "trappings of a good life" during rahu dasa. Just to give an example I know a colleague from work with Taurus Lagna, has Venus( LL+6L) placed in 11th house exalted in Pisces with benefice aspects..He is currently running Rahu Mahadasa, and his rahu is placed in 4th house sign leo. So even though Venus gave him what the chart promised i.e. attractive looks, fine things etc. but he says he has the worse married life. He got into an arrange marriage in Rahu Mahadasa( still running) out of necessity and states since then his life has been "pure hell". He says he has no happiness from his wife and she has only contributed in taking his life further down the tubes. Guest guest
Dear Friends, Let is observe why did Santosh ji find Rahus mahadasa as very good. This takes just few minutes to know if just one ponders without any complications required. Rahu is considered as powerful in kendra and specially in House of Yogkaraka. Now In Santosh jis chart. Rahu in Aries wherever it will be in whatever degrees, it will be a great benefic. Why ? The sign Aries encompasses the Nakshatras, Ashwini, Bhairini and Krittika, which are owned by Ketu, Venus and the Sun respectively. Ketu we will treat later. Venus being Lord of the 4th house, and also the 11th house will be a benefic. The Sun being Lord of the 2nd house will again be a benefic. (We are now taking these houses for material gains and prosperity, forget badhakas, marakas and all this stuff.) And now we take Ketu. Ketu in his chart will be in Libra, again a sign of Venus. Hence Rahu was good for him. regards, Bhaskar. , santhosh wrote: > > Dear vidyaji, > Goodmorning. > I beg to differ. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Ji, There is one point in favor of Rahu. Rahu is like Saturn and Ketu is like mars. Here Saturn is in Bhagyastana of 9th House. Of course Saturn is also lord of 7 and 8. I got married (7H) in Rahu Dasa and I fell from scooter twice during the period (8H). one fall was near death fall, as, if I had missed by a few inches I could have fallen into a deep gorge as I was riding on a mountain area. Death did not happen probably because of Jupiter aspect on Saturn. Regards and Thanks Santhosh On Behalf Of Bhaskar Monday, December 14, 2009 1:18 PM To: Subject: Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Guest guest
Dear R R ji, ..// Matrikaraka saturn being placed in the 4th house should create problems for or due to mother// I have been taking only Moon as Matrikaraka. Is Saturn also signifying mother? Or is it specific to this chart? I have not had a look at the chart. Regards and Thanks Santhosh On Behalf Of rohinicrystal Sunday, December 13, 2009 6:29 AM To: Subject: Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Rahu dasa That jupiter in the 6th is not a 'mickey mouse' jupiter, friends. And not just due to exaltation but it gains strength from several vargas which makes it well-balanced (important because if a planet is prominent and exalted in one varga but loses strength in other vargas, then its strength can pose a problem rather than a virtue). Note too that the 6th house jupiter also holds the pada for the 10th house and hence the larger than life image of Big B. Interestingly enough, " GUDDI " some say gave up her career (Abhimaan came alive in real life!) and managed Big B's business and in a sense shepherded his career. Jupiter is the darakaraka in this chart! Jupiter dasa was when Mr. B. went through his PREP as he worked towards his dream, slept on benches and all that which is generally true for most famous actors except for those who were born with a golden spoon in their mouth, of course (I shall leave out the examples!). Once Saturn dasa started only then the dream got realized and grew and continued in the dasa of mercury that is making a strong budha-aditya in the 8th and that house also holds some really interesting study material for us, but we can discuss the 'chemistry' that is going on there some other time. Mercury is very interestingly the final dispositor in this chart. The buck stops there, in a sense! The mutual reception of padas, by the way, though not a 'traditional' consideration plays a role here. One thing perplexes me in this chart, though! Matrikaraka saturn being placed in the 4th house should create problems for or due to mother and also at times may give a mother that just does not 'exist'. Now I have heard that Teji_ji was very involved in and responsible for managing the pragmatic aspects of Bachchan (Senior)'s household (Harivansha Rai jee!) and was a very strong mother and manager, but I do not know enough and will just hold my breath. There are other aspects about the 4th house that I would rather not speculate about, at this point. Sorry for my long-winded post and random ramblings etc... Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Ji, Please read below as:- one ‘more’ point. In addition to what you have said. Regards Santhosh On Behalf Of Santhosh Monday, December 14, 2009 2:08 PM To: RE: Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Rahu dasa Dear Bhaskar Ji, There is one point in favor of Rahu. Regards and Thanks Santhosh On Behalf Of Bhaskar Monday, December 14, 2009 1:18 PM Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Rahu dasa Dear Friends, Let is observe why did Santosh ji find Rahus mahadasa as very good. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Ji, What you have pictorially depicted about Saturn and Rahu are correct. But here the point I mentioned was further to the main points that you had mentioned in your post. In short, Rahu was favorable due to the points mentioned by you and added to that, significations of a planet positioned in Bhagyastana also got added. And since that planet was lords of 7h and 8h, significations of 7h and 8h also were seen during that period. Maybe Saturn might have slowed down things. But to my memory, there wasn’t any significant delay to any aspects of that wonderful period. I had in an earlier post mentioned a near accident. But now I remember that it happened in the second half of 1999 and my Rahu Dasa came to an end in Nov 1998 itself. However another fall from bike resulting in minor injuries happened in the second half of 1998.(this is for DeepakJi to Note please) Regards and Thanks Santhosh (not sir please) On Behalf Of Bhaskar Monday, December 14, 2009 3:02 PM Subject: Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Guest guest
Dear Santhosh Ji,I was just trying to relate natal afflictions in your chart with the transits and sub period in operationat the time of event. Will take some other case as the exact date of event is not available. Thank you.Best Regards,Deepak SharmaSanthosh <santhosh Sent: Mon, December 14, 2009 3:24:32 PMRE: Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Rahu dasa Dear Deepakji, I cannot remember the exact date. But it was the second half of 1999. That’s all I can remember now. I had bruises on face, elbows, legs etc. Regards Santhosh ancient_indian_ astrology [ ancient_indian_ astrology ] On Behalf Of deepak sharma Monday, December 14, 2009 3:14 PM ancient_indian_ astrology RE: [ancient_indian_ astrology] Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Rahu dasa Dear Santhosh Ji, //one fall was near death fall// Just see MT Lord of Saturn (8L) aspecting LL Moon closely in Natal Chart. Do you remember the date of this event. Thank you. Rahu dasa ancient_indian_ astrology Monday, December 14, 2009, 2:08 PM Dear Bhaskar Ji, There is one point in favor of Rahu. Regards and Thanks Santhosh ancient_indian_ astrology@ . com [ancient_ indian_astrology ] On Behalf Of Bhaskar Monday, December 14, 2009 1:18 PM ancient_indian_ astrology@ . com [ancient_indian_ astrology] Re: Jupiter dasa Vs. Rahu dasa Dear Friends, Let is observe why did Santosh ji find Rahus mahadasa as very good. Hence Rahu was good for him. regards, Bhaskar. ancient_indian_ astrology, santhosh wrote: > > Dear vidyaji, > Goodmorning. > I beg to differ.
