Guest guest
Dear Learned Members, Here is some more thoughts on Venus and Jupiter!!Venus becomes Combust, Thursday, December 17, as it gets within 6 degrees of the Sun, i.e., the planet is so close to the Sun we cannot see it. The significations of Venus will be "burnt up" for the next several weeks. Venus is one of the planets of Guidance (the other is Jupiter) and when we can't see it, we are "without guidance", i.e., it is a poor time for making informed decisions. Venus will reappear in the West as the "evening star" in February.Jupiter enters Aquarius on Saturday, December 19. The planet of Wisdom and Faith in the sign of the Humanitarian is considered hopeful for Social Reforms for the next four and 1/2 months. But while changing signs, Jupiter is weak, and will also be exactly conjunct Neptune in the Heavens. Although Idealism is High, so is Illusion, leading to Unrealistic Expectations. Since the other planet of Guidance, Venus, is also weakened, and the energy of the New Moon is compromised, December is a very bad time for initiating any important new endeavor.Vidya , "Bhaskar" <bhaskar_jyotish wrote:>> Wah kya baat hai. Guest guest
Deepen Ji, Any body (even if he has a big B in his last name) who has Venus in 12H, in Pisces, IF afflicted by Saturn/Rahu AND IF Venus has very low BAV AND IF 12H has low SAV AND IF he runs Venus Dasha, Venusian problems can be expected. 12H denotes Moksha AND Bed Pleasures. Want to hazard a guess which attribute an Afflicted Venus in Pisces will promote? Similar situation also exists with Jupiter in Libra. Guest guest
Thakkar_jee, Namastay and pardon me for jumping in! I have just joined this wonderful and vibrant forum and am still trying to get from " point A " to 'point B' and so on! It is 'deja-vu' in a sense (so many familiar names and faces that bring back such wonderful memories and recollections!) and yet one must drive carefully when in a new city! Manoj_ji did use the very IMPORTANT caveat: <<(ofcourse with other afflictions)>> (<<...>> is what is used in the French language instead of " ... " when quoting, by the way). 'Pisces the sign of mystics' is indeed very intriguing. I hope I am not waxing poetical but in a chart, it represents the 'Bhanwaar' perhaps (afflictions just make the experience more difficult!). A Bhanwaar (reminds me of the hindi movie: MILAN!) is essentially a watery grave! Very negative and as if the River wants to suck into its core whatever it gave or produced forth earlier! For some strange reason, I have always felt that a Bhanwaar/Whirlpool is in some sense the ANTONYM of Samudra Manthan! In the realm of DUALITY in which most of us humans exist, work in and rest in -- what is received must then be given back! What the Ocean once gave must never become a possession for it was but a GIFT and must always be returned and given back to the rightful owner -- The OCEAN in this case. Perhaps that is why Pisces is worthy of our attention! And since we jyotishis are not encumbered by 'intercepted signs' although they exist in Jyotish as well but in a different context -- each chart has Pisces in it, the 12th house of Kalapurusha! Worthy of note for it is the last door, symbolically-speaking! But then Astrology, just like any other LANGUAGE is about symbols, is it not? In any language, the characters and words enjoy immediate recognition and engage the 'thoughts' and ideas! But ONLY to those who can READ and UNDERSTAND the language! Guest guest
Welcome back B. bhai-saheb! I hasten to offer my two cents, because I may have brought into this Samdhi-Samdhan issue in this beautiful Shangrila (My sincere apologies, of course!...) SAMA-DHEE = similar views and visions and intellect SAMA-DHAN = will my pyaari Beti be happy and will be going to a prosperous home where she will be the Queen and not Dasi! Just as she was when she lived here with her parents! Now, I do not wish to sound sexist or anything like that but Fathers and Mothers think differently and it is not about culture or times or whatever! Or maybe it is! Ever wondered why the BETI is in a trikona from BABA? While MA is always on her case from the 12th from 5th? Because MEN always are engaged in BIG THINGS that matter! Like the Middle-EAST war, the terrorism, the sinking dollar or the rising Rupee or the Environment and the POOR STATE of EDUCATION GLOBALLY and what will happen to Srilanka and what if Tsunami hits us again ...! What would be the result of the next cricket match? Why is Tendulkar not immortal? While WOMEN/MAs are more worried about and engaged in useless details such as what would I feed my family tomorrow, making sure that my children have clean clothes to wear and their homework done so that the school does not call AGAIN! Even MAs that hold professional jobs and are Managers and Directors and what not! Nuances vary but the CORE DOES NOT CHANGE! VENUS is about 'being particular, being obsessively detailed!' You will find many chemists who are ruled by Venus! For mistakes and oversight can get tricky and even dangerous! VENUS has been underestimated and under-rated! Just look at some of the most METICULOUS people and leaders and note the common thread running through their lives and messages! TAKING NOTHING FOR GRANTED! Just a personal observation that hopefully will not be taken in a wrong way! With good luck for those whom Ma arrives as a form of ones wife, satisfying becomes ones Life. Those husbands who remember that she is Beti of someone, their behaviour would then tend to become wholesome. For the unlucky who get a wife raging, hot and cruel, they better get ready with some sandalwood for fuel. The " Samadhees " will have a better rappo between them, if the " Samaadhan " is harboured between both of them. Samadhees if nurture Samadhaan Successfull becomes the act of " Kanyadaan " I would prefer to have a good and wise Samadhan who keeps close to her heart my little one The one whom I have received as a gift of " Kanyadaan " she gives both pain and pleasure as adaan pradaan. But is not this what Life must be ? Guest guest
Thanks for such interesting discussions B-ji and R-ji,If I may add some astrology, please provide some samadhaan to it!Samdhan ji shares my second house and aptly so, as the beti-dhan is shared with her and beti augments the dhan with her karma. Samdhee ji sits in my 7H to actually become my alternate self for the child! So far so good.... but both stay in maraksthanas for me! In Indian context, see how a daughter's parents die a thousand deaths every day and pray for her happiness! For that matter even Son's in canging times! What a Rishta of Marakas:-)RegardsNeelam2009/12/14 Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Dear Shri RR ji, With no Ma near one, this world looks like just a stopover for time, some. Guest guest
Hello Neelam ji, See you may trot the Globe if you wish to. Do not take me along. I do not have so much money to accompany you and remain respectfully so. 2nd House for Samadhan ? - Eh ! So much brains I had to excersise to understand this. I had to keep a horoscope in front of me. Then check how could this be. I had to first think from where to start. It clicked that I must begin from the 5th, then the 7th from the 5th and then the 4th from it. So much brainwork I am not accustomed to. I do not have so much brains. Only Shri RR ji can match this much brainwork. Not me. Cheers. Guest guest
dear shri deep, An apt answer/explanation for Venus getting exalted in Pisces. Only correction is Venus is getting debilitated in Virgo and not Jupiter. the continuation msg in that para looks as though Guru getting debilitated in virgo which of course u dont mean that. regards, k.goou --- On Sun, 12/13/09, deepen thakkar <justcoolout wrote: deepen thakkar <justcoolout Re: Venus and Jupiter Date: Sunday, December 13, 2009, 7:17 PM Dear BhaskarjiVenus is the love god and is always interested in uniting 2 souls that too unconditionally so he finds himself exalted in pisces ,where pisces is deep end of ocean ,the "garbha" of true knowledge and also 2 fishes signify the union of 2 souls ...The true union between 2 souls can only occur if both of them are understanding, patient and pious which are the prime charectiristics of Guru , while finds itself in debility in virgo bcoz it is an upachay sthana and mecury as an immature student is always asking for moree and finding faults with his learning attitude while jupiter is the one who know that all knowledge lies beneath itself and he has to not roam around to find true knowledge..Besides tht please pray on my behalf in Khwaja ji's Darbar and may his Rehmat be upon us for always..regards deep

If I recall correctly, you lead this pack --SIR, in that sense because you have actually done it -- hence I for one would wait for you to share with us what being the " Father of a Bride " was like! I have kinda sorta known you for a few years now and hence I cheekily pose the question stated above and I have known in the same way some of the other jyotishis that exist on Internet, as well! Guest guest
Dear Deepenji,Just a thought. If Ju as the 12th lord signifying all that you said lord and as 9th lord of the natural zodiac signifying guru, dharma etcc, is situated in 5th house, another dharma house signifying children, would it make the person religious / spiritual or will it make the first born religious / spiritual? Marta kya na karta beti to paraya dhan hai!! RegardsNeelam 2009/12/14 Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Hello Neelam ji, See you may trot the Globe if you wish to. Not me. Cheers. Guest guest
Dear Neelam, I am really BAD at counting and math! Perhaps that is why Astrology came to me naturally :-) 2nd house indeed! Kutumba sthaana it is called! Named!! Amongst Bengalis, the " in-laws' are called " KUTUMBA or KUTUM...! " After all, through aliances such as those can we make sure that the LINEAGE continues ...! There is another way too for LINEAGE to continue! Through becoming a GURU and copyrighting the GURUDOM! SERIOUSLY, Neelam jee -- that too has been tried! In the realm of Reiki when almost a decade ago one of the GRAND MASTERS in North America tried to COPYRIGHT Reiki, but failed of course! Frank Arjava Peters, an acolyte of Rajneesh/Osho came forth and brought Reiki Fire to the fore and reminded us all WHAT FIRE is all about!
